2002 Toyota Camry XLE

This is the top of the line Camry. This is my wife's car, she drives it daily. The only reason we are selling is to upgrade to an SUV now that we have a new baby. This vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition and the body is also in excellent condition. The paint is very shiny, not dull or faded. It has brand new front brakes and tires with only 200 miles on them. The rear brakes were replace last year. The A/C works great and blows ice cold. The Camry also has heated leather seats that are awesome for the winter months. We had all the recommend maintenance done at 100,000 miles- new timing belt, new water pump,etc. Camry gets routine oil changes every 3000 miles. I wanted to make sure this vehicle was in excellent shape before I decided to sell, that is why I had new brakes and all new tires installed. Everything works as it is suppose to with no problems.

I live in Illinois, vehicle is open to inspection anytime during auction. Vehicle retails for $9500.00 I'm selling it for much less.

400-hp Toyota Hybrid-R Concept gets second teaser

Toyota has released a second teaser of its Hybrid-R Concept, along with an estimation of the show car's power output. Using technology that's "similar to that used by Toyota Racing's TS030 Hybrid race car," the concept is expected to deliver over 400 horsepower.
The press release also mentions that the new concept is based on a current production model. While it's difficult to tell from the sole teaser image of the car's body, rumors are flying that it's related to the Yaris. If that's the case, though, it's difficult to know what to make of this concept. The teaser image is quite dark, but we played around with the exposure and came up with an image that reveals more details about the new concept. Take a look at the related gallery, below, to see the high-exposure image. We'll find out for certain what the Hybrid-R is in a few weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Toyota, Lexus expanding Takata airbag recall, re-notifying customers

Toyota is re-notifying owners and expanding its Takata airbag inflator recall for some regions. The renewed campaign covers 247,000 examples of the Toyota Corolla, Matrix, Sequoia, Tundra and Lexus SC430 that are located in southern Florida, along the Gulf Coast, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, Saipan and American Samoa. All of the models come from the 2001-2004 model years and have potentially faulty Takata-made inflators on the front passenger side. According to the company, testing shows the problem warrants "immediate action," and its press release says, "this action intensifies Toyota's efforts to reach customers and remedy previously recalled vehicles, and a small number of newly included vehicles."
According to Toyota, it submitted some recalled inflators to Takata for testing, and it found a high probability of rupturing in high humidity areas. The automaker said it had no reports yet of injuries or fatalities related to the problem.
This is Toyota's third inflator recall this year. In June, it called in for repair the same vehicles from the 2003-2005 model years in high-humidity areas, and it conducted a separate campaign nationwide for the parts in additional models. In April 2013, it also announced a fix campaign for 1.73-million vehicles worldwide for the same issue.
