You are bidding on a garage-kept 2004 Toyota Camry XLE 2.4L Gas-Saver Engine in Immaculate Condition. There are absolutely no issues or concerns associated with this vehicle.  This vehicle has Gray Cloth Interior and Dark Gray Exterior. The Car is clean inside and out without any tears, stains, scratches or leaks. This is a well-maintained vehicle that has never been in an accident. I religiously change the oil every 2500 miles with Castro synthetic blend right from the time I acquired the vehicle from the original owner. The Engine and Transmission drive flawlessly. The vehicle has 4 brand new rotors and Ceramic Break Pads all around. And I recently(3 weeks ago) changed the oil. I installed 4 high-performance Michelin Tires on the vehicle in August 2013. And they still look brand new! There is also a brand new full-Size Michelin Spare Tire with matching rim. The car has Viper Alarm System with Remote Start which can be handy during winter periods. This is the Top-OF-The-Line 2004 Camry with Wood Grain furnishing and can easily go another 240,000 plus miles with proper maintenance. The attracting aspect of this model of Camry is it's Gas-Saving ability. I easily gets about 36 Miles Highway and 25 Miles in the City. This result however depends on individual driving pattern. This used to be my daily Commuter Car and as a result the Mileage is slightly above normal for the year. This is purely Highway Miles and the Appearance and Performance of the car attest to this assertion. You will not be disappointed with this purchase! Some of the Key Features include: 16-Inch Aluminum Wheels, Anti-Lock Breaks, Stereo Sound with 8 JBL Speakers, Wood-Grain Style Interior, Day-Time Running Lights, 6-Disc CD Changer, Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror with Compass, Original Toyota Floor Mats, Cargo Mat Set, E.T.C.  Thank you, good luck and happy bidding!

Lexus gets new boss, and he's a designer

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

A reshuffle in the uppermost ranks of Lexus could see the Japanese luxury brand further energize its recent focus on design. Tokuo Fukuichi, Toyota's global design boss, is the new head of Lexus International.
Fukuichi will retain his role as the overall head of design for Toyota, Lexus and Scion, and will assume his new position at the head of Lexus and on its board on April 1 (no fooling). This is going to be an interesting move for fans of design to watch, as Fukuichi has repeatedly been mentioned as a designer that enjoys pushing the edge of the envelope and experimenting. He is, after all, the man responsible for designing the most awesomely odd minivan of the 1990s, the mid-engined, rear-drive Toyota Previa, and more recently, he signed off on the controversial Lexus LF-NX concept, which is said to presage a new production small crossover.
"Regarding changes in design, no one has 100 percent confidence," Fukuichi told Forbes back in January 2013. "No one can really say with pure certainty that, 'In two years, this will sell well.'" As Akio Toyoda continues to demand more assertive, edgier designs, it's that point of view that should make Fukuichi a valuable addition to Lexus, as it continues to challenge the competition from Germany.

2014 Toyota Corolla to bow before LA

Sat, 30 Mar 2013

We've sort of been wondering when Toyota would finally debut the next-generation Corolla sedan, especially since the current car is getting very, very long in the tooth. We got a glimpse of the new compact's design at this year's Detroit Auto Show in the form of the Furia concept seen above, but we figured we'd see the production car by now.
According to Edmunds, Toyota will be unveiling the new Corolla sometime soon, and it won't wait until the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Officials from the Japanese automaker did not state a specific location or date for the new car's unveiling, but said that the 2014 Corolla is expected to be on sale before the LA expo later this year and that it will be revealed "somewhere in the US."
Toyota did not divulge any details about the new Corolla, and we're willing to bet that the aggressive lines of the Furia concept will be dulled down quite a bit for the production model. Still, news that the new car is coming sooner rather than later is indeed a good thing.

Toyota again claims Corolla outsold Focus worldwide

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

Toyota isn't convinced the Ford Focus was the best-selling nameplate globally last year. Bloomberg reports that for the second time in seven months, both Toyota and Ford are laying claim to the title. Ford cites R.L. Polk & Co. data that says the automaker moved some 1.02 million Focus models in 2012 compared to just 872,774 Toyota Corolla units. But Toyota says the actual figure is closer to 1.16 million Corolla models.
Last year, Ford said it took the sales crown through the fist half of 2012 based on information from IHS Automotive, but Toyota pointed out those numbers left out models like the Corolla-based Matrix and Auris, as well as the Corolla Fielder and Scion xB-based Corolla Rumion. Whether or not Toyota's belief that all these cars should be counted in the Corolla bucket is accurate or not is seemingly up for debate... as is the question of why it matters so much to both parties.
This time around, Ford is holding the line that the Focus is the "best-selling nameplate," with Erich Merkle, a US sales analyst with Ford saying the company's figure is, "a pure number that is verified by a third party." Toyota, meanwhile, has requested clarification from Polk.
