I have up for auction a 1990 Toyota Landcruiser. I purchased this vehicle in November of 2011. In that time I have barely put 6,000 miles on this truck. It runs and drives great. I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles. In June of 2012 I had all the belts replaced as well as the alternator. I have all the service records for all work done on the truck for as long as I have owned it. When I bought it there were 126,772 miles on it, now there are 133,428.
This Landcruiser has 31" BFG All-Terrain tires with good tread left. The power windows work and the AC blows ice cold. There is an iPod integrated audio system included with a remote. I am also leaving a Thule roof rack system on for whomever purchases the vehicle. I am also leaving a set of Weathertec floor mats in the driver and passenger sides as well as a cargo mat in the back of the truck.
There are only a few flaws. There are some small rust spots around the lift handle on the tailgate and on the bottom of the passenger side front door. In addition there are a few minor blemishes in the paint on the body of the truck. This truck is after all 23 years old so it's going to have some dings here and there. Also, the oil pressure gauge does not work, but I bought it in this condition and never got around to getting it fixed but it has never been a problem.
I basically used this truck as my vehicle to get around town and sometimes to work. My commute is a round trip of about 32 miles. As you can see, I have not put a ton of miles on this thing. It cruises effortlessly at 70mph out on the highway and is incredibly dependable. It only has 133k miles on an original Toyota engine.
The interior is extremely clean and the headliner has no sag whatsoever. There are no rips or tears anywhere in the seats. The carpets are remarkably clean and tight. It gets compliments everywhere it goes.
Don't miss your chance to own a legendary Toyota Landcruiser. Please feel free to ask my any questions and Good Luck!

Toyota Prius sets a different kind of Nurburgring lap record [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Scroll down the leaderboards of Nürburgring lap times and you'll see mostly racing cars, supercars and sports cars. Delve deep enough and you'll eventually get to hatchbacks and sedans, albeit the most performance-focused of their kind. But a hybrid? Sure, the Porsche 918 Spyder posted the top time for a street-legal series production car, and it's technically a hybrid, but we're talking about another kind of hybrid here. We're talking about a Toyota Prius.
That's right: the Prius just set a lap record around the Nordschleife. But it wasn't for the lap time. In fact, miles per hour barely factored in (except for staying above the minimum 37-mph average speed mandated on the vaunted racing circuit). No, this was about miles per gallon.
Toyota took one of its Prius Plug-In hybrids to the Nürburgring, topped up the battery, put on a set of low-rolling-resistance tires and put automotive journalist Joe Clifford behind the wheel with a mandate to use as little fuel as possible. After one second shy of 21 minutes, the Prius completed its lap having used just five tablespoons of fuel.
First live photos and impressions of Toyota's 2014 Corolla
Fri, 07 Jun 2013After releasing official pictures and a press release about an hour earlier, Toyota chose an aircraft hanger at the Santa Monica airport as the venue for the global introduction of its highly anticipated 2014 Corolla. Following an extended aerial acrobat show, which included performers running along the walls, swimmers romping in a massive overhead clear plastic pool and angry dancers destroying their cardboard stage in a glittery fit... the all-new C-segment star of the show was lowered on cables from the ceiling. (After the strobe lights and pounding sound that preceded it, the final vehicle reveal was almost anticlimactic.)
Face-to-face with the eleventh-generation sedan, we liked what we saw. Compared to last year's Corolla, the new model appears smaller in person - yet that is mostly an optical illusion. By the tape, it is four inches longer and slightly wider than its predecessor, but a bit shorter. The wheelbase has been stretched nearly four inches, yet the front and rear overhangs only give or take about an inch in the conversion. With the exception of the enormous wheel/fender gap (the new Corolla seems to ride too high), its overall proportions are very pleasing.
The fresh styling is modern and stylish, with sculpted lines that add character to a formerly bland sedan
2014 Toyota Tundra appears with revised styling, same mechanicals
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Toyota has pulled the curtain back on its 2014 Tundra, showing a truck that has gotten its most significant refresh since its launch as a 2007 model. For better or worse, however, the changes that Toyota has made to the fullsize pickup are mostly cosmetic, with the underpinnings of the vehicle staying unchanged.
The most obvious revision for 2014 is to the bluff front fascia of the truck. There's a new, taller squared-off grille decorating the Tundra's nose, along with a revised, three-part front bumper design. The optional black grille-frame strikes us as an acquired taste, to say the least, but other models, like the Limited above, is all clad in chrome. Fenders and wheel wells are more square than in the out-going truck, too. Perhaps most significant is the revised bed design, which Toyota calls "all-new," with new sheet metal on the sides, a revised tailgate and a very subtle integrated spoiler.
Inside, Toyota has given buyers some new seats and a new-look instrument panel. A backup camera (always handy on big trucks) is now standard equipment on all grades, as is Bluetooth connectivity. Blind spot monitoring is a new, optional feature as well. In all, as with the exterior mods, the changes in-cabin are far more evolutionary than revolutionary.
