Selling our 1993 Toyota Pick Up. The only reason we are selling is because of the leaf spring. Overall this truck will last a long time as it has the re22 engine, this was used in the japanese military vehicles, so with proper maintenance it should last another 100k plus miles. We hate to part with it but we do not have the resources to fix the leaf spring. Truck was freshly vacuumed and cleaned. The toolbox on back is included, also has a latch for a pad lock. also has a bedliner and trailer electrical hookup. Very good tread on the tires yet. has rust. 205,000 miles re22 4 cylinder engine 5speed 4x4 works good oversize tires cd player broken back window leaf spring mounting bracket needs to be welded back in place. -see pics- This is the reason for selling. I dont have the equipment or know how to repair. clutch only has 15,000 ish on it. motor runs strong cruise doesnt work park brake doesnt work truck has seen alot of hwy miles truck can be driven locally to be repaired. Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.
Krafcik says US Gov. shutdown is slowing Oct. auto sales
Tue, 15 Oct 2013The government shutdown is eroding consumer confidence in the auto market, says John Krafcik, CEO of Hyundai's US sales unit, and could lower October sales by as much as 10 percent, Automotive News reports. "It's that anxiety that keeps customers, potential buyers, on the sidelines when making a big purchase like an automobile," Krafcik says, adding that industry sales could be off by five to 10 percent in October compared to September.
The fourth quarter, which started October 1, usually consists of increased auto sales as dealerships clear their lots to make room for the next year's models. Leading up to the fourth quarter this year, the auto industry was doing well in the fragile, recovering US economy, although September deliveries decreased by 4.2 percent, due in part to this year's Labor Day sales being recorded for August.
To help its customers, Hyundai announced it is deferring new-car loan and lease payments for furloughed federal workers until they're called back to work and also offering them a three-month payment deferral if they buy a new Hyundai in October. "We have already had requests from over a thousand people to have their payments deferred," Krafcik says.
BMW, Toyota outline new tech joint venture, new sports car
