2010 Toyota Yaris For Sale.

I bought this car to use it as a company car, used it for 1 year and now am getting a company car. It has been a great car but I need to sell it. It has a few small dents and scratches, nothing serious. Well maintained, synthetic oil. This would make a great college car, first car, or work car. I have had two car seats in the car and the kids love it, the car has a surprising amount of room inside.

Gets around 38 MPG, but known to get 40 sometimes.

Please e-mail me with questions...I have been spammed so many times its getting ridiculous.   I will then give you my phone number...

I bought this car on from a body shop one year ago (on Carfax) The car had 8,000 miles on it.
Please note that the car has been in a minor front end crash and needed a hood, radiator, core support (bolt on) replaced, and consequently has a Indiana Rebuilt Title. It has no issues since the repair, and runs and drives great. I have Allstate Insurance, full coverage, no issues. Really, this car is nice and you would never know it had previously been in an accident. All parts were bolt on Toyota genuine parts.   There are no issues with tire wear, the unibody, etc. from the crash.

***UPDATE***

In response to questions asked....

I bought the vehicle from a dealership/body shop in IL, they fixed the car before I acquired it. I learned from them that it had been in a front end crash. There is no body/unibody damage at all. I have drove the car for 36,000+ miles with the same tires....Not sure why the car was totaled, because it is really nice. I think since the car was not that expensive to begin with, the hood, bumper, steel bumper, radiator, condenser, core support was enough to get it totaled. You would really not ever know that it has been in a wreck. I'm a field service engineer (Rockwell Automation) and used it as a company car, since the company wouldn't give me a actual company car. I love it, hate to get rid of it. I bought it yes, with the risk that it had unibody damage...the "gamble" paid off as it does not and I saved a TON of money. I also didn't care that it was a rebuilt title.....compared to the prices of other Yaris's around, it is a steal.

You can see that the core support was bolted on...these are that way and not welded as some cars are. Also...they only thing that is worth mentioning is that the original airbox was not replaced with a genuine Toyota part as it was $500 dollars...I aftermarket air filter was put in (K&N) to save on repaid costs. I actually prefer this as it has saved me money I just clean it...plus I might have gained an extra 1/2 HP (joking, of course)...

***UPDATE # 2***

There is NOT a lien on this car.  I have the title (Indiana Rebuilt Title) in my possession and will send a picture to anyone interested....

I will accept PayPal.

Thanks!

Toyota recalling 10k vehicles to fix wiper switches

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

Toyota has announced a voluntary recall covering approximately 10,000 cars in the United States. Affected models include the 2013-14 Camry and Camry Hybrid, 2013-14 Avalon and Avalon Hybrid, and the brand new 2014 Corolla.
The problem, as Toyota explains it, is that, "During manufacture of the wiper switch assembly in the involved vehicles, certain contacts on the switch terminal could have been manufactured incorrectly." This could lead to a short in the circuit when the wiper switch is moved between "off" and "mist," and thus, cause the windshield wipers to stop working. Not good.
Toyota will contact owners via first class mail, and the vehicles can be repaired at dealerships, free of charge. Have a look below for the automaker's official statement.

Toyota nears $40B cash reserve as calls grow for new investment, payouts

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

With the April 15 tax deadline just a few months away, our US readers will be faced with a decision should they get a refund: save or spend? It seems this issue is one many of us face whenever there's a windfall, trying to decide whether we should set the money aside in an account of some sort or use it as a down payment on a new car or a trip to the Apple store. Unsurprisingly, major corporations face a similar, albeit more complex, issue.
Take Toyota, for example. With President Akio Toyoda at the helm, the Japanese manufacturer has gracefully weathered recalls and natural disasters, all while turning beaucoup profits. Last quarter, profits quintupled to 434.4-billion yen ($4.3-billion USD), according to Bloomberg. Toyota also upped its forecast for the end of fiscal year 2013 (which ends on March 31 for Japan), to a record 1.9-trillion yen (about $18.8 billion). Now, the Japanese brand is reportedly sitting on a cash pile of nearly $40 billion, leaving Toyoda-san in an envious predicament - what should the company do with all that money?
Some think Toyota should be doing something, anything with that big stack of cash.

Toyota Sienna Swagger Wagon rides again with Busta Rhymes

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Let's face it: there are few things less "gangsta" than a minivan (which goes a long way towards explaining why crossovers have been gradually taking their place as the family-hauler of choice across America, but we digress). The point here is not lost on Toyota, which has embraced the uncool image of the minivan with the Swagger Wagon campaign.
We first saw the suburban-goes-urban campaign pop up with the introduction of the new Sienna back in 2010. And now that the Sienna's been updated for 2015, the campaign is back again, featuring none other than Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. himself... better known to most as Busta Rhymes. The decidedly white-bread video spot that follows may make you cringe, but you've got to admit that it's well done, even if it doesn't have the charm and freshness of the original.
