This bus is in pretty rough shape, the previous owner used a torch to remove the rear chassis legs to make it sit level as a shed.... i know crappy. the front frame is decent and could be mounted with an axle, but everything from the cargo doors back is gone, the floor in the front is awesome, rust free, but some of the dog legs are rusty and bondoed over. From ten inches up to the roof is is very good shape and rust free, its the bottom that makes this a candidate to save other busses. has all glass minus the windshields, front doors are rust free and have minor dents, sliders in the doors are complete. cargo doors have been patched a time before, but could also be saved. The rear hatch is a large window, and in great shape. the roof is near flawless, rain gutters are totally rust free. inside is stripped, has no column or steering wheel, guages and dash are in good shape, has speedo and fuel guages. Plenty to restore, or plenty to save more than a couple buses in need!

UAW angered over VW workers getting right to defend anti-union vote
Thu, 13 Mar 2014The United Auto Workers have called a decision by the National Labor Relations Board allowing anti-UAW employees at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga the right to defend voting down unionization at the plant "an outrage."
You'll recall that the union was defeated by a vote of 712 to 626 in a contentious February election. The UAW claims the outcome was unfairly swayed by pro-business, anti-union forces, including Senator Bob Corker and political advocate Grover Norquist.
This new decision by the NLRB essentially gives workers backed by the anti-UAW National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation and Southern Momentum a formal voice in the impending hearing on the UAW's appeal of the vote.
2015 Volkswagen GTI [w/video]
Fri, 26 Apr 2013The 911 Of Hot Hatches Takes The Compact Game To New Levels
North American car buyers get a bit of a slap in the face when it comes to delivery schedules for new the Volkswagen Golf and pumped-up GTI models. We'll just repeat the old chestnut: It's worth the wait... even though it still stinks. This time around, Western Europe is taking deliveries of the new Golf as we speak, and GTI deliveries start between May and July. North America doesn't get the Mk7 Golf or GTI until about July of 2014.
So we approached our first drive of the new GTI with this chip on our shoulder: "You're making us wait? Well, then at least give us the exact car we'll be able to buy. No compromises, mein freund." And so it was that we extracted nearly all of our drive impressions from behind the wheel of what, for the United States, will technically be a model year 2015 two-door Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance with the standard six-speed manual.
VW pondering low-cost sub-brand for China?
Wed, 30 Jan 2013More detail is being sketched into the Volkswagen Group's plan to launch a low-cost brand for emerging markets. Late last year a German report quoted a VW rep saying that the brand has been interested in building a no-frills car, the kind that would challenge Dacia and Datsun, for a while. With both Proton and Suzuki effectively out of the partnership picture, a report in Reuters suggests VW could go straight to China, developing a car with its joint venture partners and building and selling it there.
Officially, company CEO Martin Winterkorn said the issue of a model for emerging markets would be decided this year but VW isn't any closer to confirming any kind of plan for a car in its portfolio underneath the Up!, remarking to Reuters about the China possibility, "That's an issue we're currently looking at."
