Up for auction is this 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS with the 1.8L Turbo Engine. The car is in overall good condition. The engine and transmission are fine, but the mechanic stated the throttle body either needs to cleaned or replaced. The part cost about $90. The airbag light is also because of a bad clock spring, which is common on these cars, and cost only about $40. Both are minor fixes, but the owner purchased another vehicle, and decided to sell this one. Therefore, he opted not to have the parts replaced. However, the vehicle was just serviced a few days ago, which include a tune-up and oil change.

The exterior looks good. Other than the minor damage on the passenger fender, and the driver's fender needing touch up paint, the body is actually in good condition The the paint still shines up nicely. The interior is Please view the pictures closely.

Volkswagen and Funny or Die take humorous spin in 2015 Golf

Volkswagen is partnering with Target and Funny or Die in a bizarre ad for the latest Golf starring comedian Rob Huebel, probably best known for his work on Childrens Hospital on Adult Swim.
The commercial is titled The Way Too Helpful Neighbor and stars Huebel as the eponymous neighbor. The challenge is for Huebel to help improve his buddy's apartment before the guy meets his girlfriend's parents for the first time. The obvious way to do that is to slide a new Golf through an actual Target in Texas, while simultaneously showcasing the store's goods and the car's features.
The commercial is airing online now and on TBS during breaks in Conan O'Brien's show, with sneak peaks during other programs on the network. Auto advertising is becoming pretty normal for Funny or Die at this point, though, with the site previously partnering with Fiat for several videos. VW Golf GTI wrung out by Chris Harris

Enthusiasts like nothing more than to crucify modern interpretations of their favorite performance models for failing to live up to some imagined ethos. Even the Volkswagen GTI has suffered its fair share of slings and arrows for growing in size and curb weight. Chris Harris recently spent some time with the all-new MK VII GTI to find out if growing up means giving up on what makes the machine so special.
Judging by his comments, Harris certainly doesn't think so. Yes, the new GTI is considerably more comfortable than its predecessors, but that's hardly a bad thing. The multitude of driving modes actually seem to add depth to the car rather than simply try to force one tool to do many jobs, and Harris even finds the machine's electronic power steering tolerable. As a result, Harris goes so far as to call the Volkswagen GTI "one of the best cars to actually own." How's that for high praise? You can watch the video for yourself by scrolling below.
