This is the most reliable and most desirable from the Passat family. Unlike the problematic 2.0Turbo engine, the Naturally Inspired 3.6 V6 Engine Delivers 280h.p and is famous with it's durability and worry-free maintenance. The acceleration is effortless, the traction control and stability system assist the driver and make it fun on the turns. Exterior is aerodynamic and stylish. The interior is functional and attractive and the control layout is very logical and everything is within reach and easy to use.
The seats are constructed from soft perforated leather and are very comfortable and supportive at the same time.
The body is clean of any scratches or dings. No rips or tears on the leather interior. Michelin tires are at 8/32 = Excellent Tires. Wheels are without scratches or curb rash.
The vehicle drives excellent. Transmission shifts smooth and the engine is very responsive.
There are no bad codes or any other warnings on the dash.
All the windows, seat controls, radio, heat, A/C, moonroof, horn, signals and brakes work great.

VW recalls 1.1M Jetta, Beetle models in US, China over suspension fears
Fri, 17 Oct 2014Volkswagen is recalling about 1.1 million vehicles in China and North America in a newly announced campaign affecting the rear suspensions on some models. For the US, the action covers about 442,265 vehicles, including 400,602 examples of its 2011-2013 Jetta and 41,663 units of the 2012-2013 Beetle and Beetle Convertible. According to Reuters, the recall affects a further 126,000 vehicles in Canada and about 581,090 in China, including related market-specific models like the Sagitar.
The problem can occur if the affected models have a collision to the rear or the side-rear of the vehicle. It's then possible for the trailing arms on the torsion-beam rear suspension to be damaged. If the harm isn't noticed, then the part could fracture while driving. Obviously, a broken rear suspension is going to have an adverse effect on handling.
To fix things, VW dealers will inspect the trailing arms on the models, and they will all receive a sheetmetal part that will make a distinctive sound if broken in the future. If already damaged, the entire torsion beam will be replaced. Obviously, this work will be done at no charge to owners.

The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...
