this car has been kept indoors and rarely driven for the past 7 years , kept as a summer or sunday driver there is no rust, rot or any issues with the body at all, the car is very clean and straight paint is in very good condition and had been well cared for the interier is very clean as well with normal wear for being 20 years old the dash and seats are all in very good condition , it has a swapped and refreshed drive train with about 40k on it 2.0 block with a fresh 1.8 litre head, cis fuel injection it has a short gear ratio 3k trans 5 speed , fresh sachs clutch 20k ago last winter it recieved a lot of love, the list of new parts are as follows all new brakes ,pads , rotors , shoes ,ect new steering rack , tie rods ,ball joints new tires , 5mm wheel spacers the top has been replaced ,and works great it has neuspeed front and rear sway bars ,and front lower tie bar a fresh set of coilovers , the car runs and drives great ,. Volkswagen Golf Wagon leaked ahead of official unveiling
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Wagons ho! These three images of the upcoming Volkswagen Golf Wagon have leaked online ahead of the car's official debut, which may very well be at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking over the photos doesn't really bring any surprises - after all, this is a VW Golf with a wagon rear end grafted on, or basically what we expect next Jetta SportWagen will be.

J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

UAW angered over VW workers getting right to defend anti-union vote
Thu, 13 Mar 2014The United Auto Workers have called a decision by the National Labor Relations Board allowing anti-UAW employees at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga the right to defend voting down unionization at the plant "an outrage."
You'll recall that the union was defeated by a vote of 712 to 626 in a contentious February election. The UAW claims the outcome was unfairly swayed by pro-business, anti-union forces, including Senator Bob Corker and political advocate Grover Norquist.
This new decision by the NLRB essentially gives workers backed by the anti-UAW National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation and Southern Momentum a formal voice in the impending hearing on the UAW's appeal of the vote.
