2008 Volvo S40 only 47k miles in excellent condition. 2.4L sedan.
Beautiful Silver Paint, mechanically perfect, tires 70% front, 50% rear Cruise, Sirius Satellite Radio, Premium Sound System, Keyless entry, Front wheel drive (incredible in snow), Power Windows, Dual Air Bags, Side Air Bags, Head Curtain Air Bags, Power Door Locks, Traction Control, Stability Control , ABS (4-Wheel), Power Moon Roof, Alloy Wheels, Spare has never seen the road, tinted windows, Power Drivers Seat, AC & Heat Perfect, Fog Lights, 6 cd changer, Oil and Filter just changed - car is nearly flawless. Car only shows 42k on the odometer and engine has 47k miles so we've listed it at 47k miles. Engine recently replaced because previous owner drove car across flooded road and engine injested water and was damaged. Volvo wanted $10k to replace engine so insurance company bought car and resold it at auction where I bought it and had engine replaced I've driven it for last 1,500 miles but have decided it's too nice of a car to drive in my 120 mile daily commute, so I'm selling it. Volvo Concept XC Coupe is ready to hit the slopes
Tue, 14 Jan 2014There's something inescapably right about a Swedish car with a set of skis on its roof. It doesn't matter if it's a Jurassic-era Volvo Amazon, a Saab 900 Turbo, or even a Koenigsegg Agera R. Surely it's some sort of Scandinavian birthright... right along with immaculate complexion. The latest to carry on that tradition in fine form? The Volvo Concept XC Coupe, just released at this week's Detroit Auto Show.
The two-door, four-seat XC Coupe rolled onto stage here at Cobo pre-outfitted with a matching ski box, looking sharp on its 21-inch wheels. According to Volvo, the box isn't an afterthought - in fact, the XC Coupe's design itself was "inspired by modern sports equipment."
As for the rest of the concept's genetic makeup, at this point, we don't have much to go on. Volvo has admitted that the XC Coupe rides atop its new boron-steel-intensive Scalable Product architecture, but it has declined to outline any sort of powertrain details. We're not sure if this showcar has any production future, but we do expect for its design language to inform the next-generation XC90 crossover.

The new XC90 isn't just about the new XC90 - it's as much about the new generation of Volvos that will result.
Around the turn of the millennium, Volvo seemed like the perfect automaker to make a crossover. It had, after all, already established for itself a reputation for building all-wheel-drive wagons for transporting families in safety and comfort. But while its competitors marched one by one into the luxury utility market, Volvo held out. That was, anyway, until the debut of the original XC90 in 2002. And it's never looked back since.
2014 Volvo V60 to start at $35,300*
Tue, 31 Dec 2013When Volvo announced US pricing for its updated 2014 model line, it left one vital model out of the equation: that would be the V60, the long-roofed version of the S60 sedan and the long-awaited replacement for the V70 wagon that left our shores nearly four years ago. But if you look at the V60's product page now, you'll see a starting MSRP listed at $35,300. That represents a $2,900 premium over the S60 and an $800 premium over the larger (but older) XC70 softroader.
Delve further into the online configuration tool and you'll see that the price is applied, naturally, to the base turbocharged five-cylinder, front-drive model. Go for the Premier or Platinum trims and the price begins to climb, as it does with the addition of all-wheel drive, the turbo six engine and the R-Design spec. You'll also need to account for the *$915 destination charge. Tick all the boxes and you'll soon be looking at a price tag of over $50,000. Order books open with the start of the new year.
