2007 Volvo Xc70 Wagon, Excllent Shape! Loaded, Runs / Drives / Looks New on 2040-cars
North Brookfield, Massachusetts, United States
Very nice 07 XC70 w/ 137k, Runs and drives new. Great shape inside and out. Recently serviced pre trade. 1 Owner, Brand new studded Pirellis will make it a tank in the snow. Volvo rims still with the car. This color leather holds up the best. Moon Roof, Heated Leather, All Power etc. etc. all the goodies the XC70's have.
I'm not sure if the T belt has been replaced yet. If I don't get beat up on the price to much, I will be happy to have my mechanic install a new one. I'm happy to deliver in New England, NJ / NY, and can help arrange shipping elsewhere. Please contact me to discuss, is the only way I can crunch my numbers on offers. Thanks for the interest.

Jeremy Lin's new Volvo has him working out with the XC60
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Jeremy Lin rose to prominence as a point guard for the New York Knicks in February of 2012 when he came out of nowhere to lead the team to a string of victories. Volvo was quick to notice and signed him as the company's US spokesperson that March. Since then, he has starred in several Volvo advertisements, and his latest ad shows just how he uses his Volvo XC60 to train for the court. The highlight is Lin shooting free throws out of the sunroof.
Since leaving the Knicks, Lin has lost some of the visibility and hype that attracted Volvo to him in the first place. Still, commercials must be made, so check out Lin's latest below.
Volvo's pedestrian airbags may already be on their way out
Sun, 01 Dec 2013As proof of just how quickly automotive technology can advance, just check out the Volvo V40. Developed with an external airbag aimed at better protecting pedestrians in the event of a collision, this innovative safety device could be phased out soon in place of more advanced active safety technologies like pedestrian detection and auto braking.
Go Auto had a chance to talk to Volvo senior VP Lex Kerssmakers at the Tokyo Motor Show, and he suggested that the V40's under-hood airbag will not be used on the next-gen XC90 and might not even be continued on non-SUV models. The passive airbag was designed to deploy at speeds of less than 31 miles per hour to help limit head injuries to pedestrians, but new active technologies are designed to prevent collisions in the first place.
The interview also reveals some details about the new XC90, such as the inclusion of a plug-in hybrid system and the debut of a new safety technology. Kerssmakers told Go Auto that a new Volvo concept will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but it won't be for the XC90.
Volvo PV444 turns 70
Sun, 31 Aug 2014Volvo has made all manner of vehicles over the course of its long history, including coupes, convertibles, hatchbacks, sedans, wagons and SUVs. But the vehicle that started it all was the PV444.
Or rather, we should say, the PV444 is what re-started it all. Because while it wasn't Volvo's first model, it was the first one it produced after the war. Monday, September 1, will mark 70 years since the PV444 first debuted at the Royal Tennis Hall in Stockholm pictured above, where the company received 148,437 visitors.
That presentation there took place shortly before the end of World War II when the vehicle wasn't even finished yet. A team of 40 engineers and designers were still fine-tuning the final version, but were eager to show the public what it would start building after the last bullet was fired and peace would return to Europe.
