Professional mechanic owned 1998 Buick Riviera Supercharged with a 3.8 liter. I have owned this vehicle for a couple years and it has been a great car. I hate to part with it, but now with two kids growing up, it's time to let this two door coupe go. I maintain all of my vehicles to stay in great shape and knowing this one had a few issues when I purchased it, I have since fixed all of them. The front brakes, wheel hub assembly, radiator, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, a/c compressor, orifice tube, drier, tie rod end and front struts have all been replaced with O.E.M. parts and then aligned. It has air shocks in the rear with auto leveling. The rear tires are new and the front have about 50% life remaining. The following services, transmission, coolant, power steering and brake system all flushed and filled. Everything works great on this car, the only exception; when the sunroof is used, it makes a clicking noise and requires you to help it along a bit in order to get it closed. We just dont use it. The paint is very glossy but does have a couple spots where the clear coat is peeling. The front bumper cover and a small area next to the sun roof. It has imperfections from rock chips on the body that have been filled with touch up paint. I do have the original owners manual and a small bottle of touch up paint. Has no dents or rust. A non smoker car also. I am able to get 27 MPG on the highway. It has 182k miles but this vehicle runs and drives awesome! These engines are known for going upwards as 300k. I run a synthetic blend and it does not burn any oil. This Buick will be worry free for the next person for a long time. Any question please ask. You can either email or call John at 970-799-2674. If I don't answer, leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible. Thanks for looking.

Restyled 2014 Buick Regal adds AWD, Regal GS loses power
Tue, 26 Mar 2013Although the current Buick Regal hasn't even been on the market for very long, General Motors is using the New York Auto Show to unveil an updated version of the sedan in a similar fashion to what we saw yesterday with the 2014 LaCrosse. Like the LaCrosse, all 2014 Regal models will be getting a new look both for the exterior and interior design, but the big news takes place under the sedan's skin.
Except for the base Regal eAssist, the Regal Turbo and Regal GS will both be adding the benefit of all-wheel drive, but there is no word as to how much weight this system will add to each car's curb weight. The Regal Turbo's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder has received a decent bump in output from 220 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to 259 hp and 295 lb-ft; unfortunately, these same figures are carried over to the Regal GS, which means that car drops from 270 hp. Both turbocharged models (Regal Turbo and Regal GS) will now be offered with all-wheel drive and the ability of sending more than 90 percent of the engine's torque to the rear wheels.
In terms of styling, the 2014 Regal gets similar styling changes found on the updated Enclave and LaCrosse, including reworked fascias, scalloped headlights and a full-width chrome strip spanning between the new LED taillights. Inside, key changes were made to the Regal's cabin technology, such as the instrument gauge cluster and infotainment system. On the Regal and Regal Turbo, a new 4.2-inch color display is available for drivers to see information for the vehicle, navigation and audio systems, but the Regal GS' cabin is slightly different with an eight-inch configurable gauge display. One of the best changes may be the overall reduction in buttons on the center stack, creating a cleaner-looking and easier-to-use cabin.
GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
Next Buick Regal to inherit styling cues from Opel Monza concept
Mon, 06 Oct 2014Ever look at a concept car from a foreign auto marque like Opel and wonder what relevance it will have to you as an American consumer? Well, we'll tell you: at least as far as the Opel Monza concept goes, it could mean a lot.
Speaking with Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said, "You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia." And the Insignia, we needn't point out, is essentially ported over to American showrooms as the Buick Regal.
The relationship between the Regal and Insignia only stands to grow closer as Opel design chief Mark Adams has also been charged with tightening the bonds between the two automakers positioned on opposite shores of the Atlantic. Adams also intends to imbue the next Insignia with more "premium brand values" in order to "add polish to the brand." Which in turn means that the Regal will be designed to look more upscale, too.
