1998 Chevrolet Lumina Ls, Burgundy, Pwr Seat, Locks, Wndws, Trunk, tires Like New on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for bid is a Burgundy/Tan 1998 Chevrolet Lumina LS which I purchased from the original owner in 2007. This car features: a 4-way Power Drivers Seat, Power Door Locks, Power Windows, Power Trunk, Dual Mirrors, Cruise Control, Premium Six (6) Speaker Cassette Stereo. Recently installed Four (4) Hankook Tires and a brand new battery and starter. Vehicle was never in an accident, was meticulously maintained, and I have a receipt for every repair or part I purchased, and it still runs great for a 16 year old car. And it even still comes with the original manual located in the locking glove compartment. Car was NEVER smoked in, EVER, by anyone! Car has an excellent Automatic Transmission. Car has 4 Hankook Tires, (with Wheel Locks) that are like new. Buyer will be responsible for pickup and transport. |

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
