ONE Chevy Suburban 1500 LS 4x4, 5.3L Engine Rare 9 passenger version Dual Power Cloth Seats, Rear Air Conditioning NO TRADES- I'm tiring to liquidate my belongings not gain more. Engine, transmission, transfer case are very good. Interior is very good. Body is solid with only minor surface rust starting. Needs some minor repairs as listed below. Low Blue Book for the vehicle is about $4200! This could be a money making for someone who likes to tinker on cars. My loss is your gain. I'm recently re-married with a blended family and moved out of town, I have no time to finish repairs. Completed Repairs- --------------------------------- Installed new front brakes- Rotor and fully loaded calipers Installed new rear brake rotors and pads, new rear dust shields, new axle bearings and seals, and new fluid in rear. Work to be completed- --------------------------------------------- Critical - Needs new tires on rear. Critical - Left Rear brake caliper is dragging, needs new rear calipers and one rotor Minor - Needs new battery, one cell is dead. Minor - Fuel pump needs replaced, hard to start below a 1/4 tank, but runs strong once started Minor - Side mirrors need replaced (new side mirrors included in sale) Minor - Diver window regulator bad (new window regulator included in sale) Minor - Driver outside door handle (new door handle included in sale) Minor - Front drive shaft needs normal maintenance but is functional Minor - Cracked front windshield |

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild
Tue, 12 Feb 2013This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.
Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
