Here we go!......What you are looking / bidding on is probably the cleanest Chevy BelAir on E-Bay....

It has ORIGINAL 34,700 miles and was a "Garage find / Grandma's car" from Indiana

It has a 327 V8 with a very rare (and expensive) 1970-71 Z-28 manifold, Edelbrock 600 cfm 4bbl carb (orig. 2bbl motor), HEI "Petronic Ignition) and mellow full dual exhaust... Perfect shifting PowerGlide transmission...

The car will come with Corvette 15x8 Rally wheels with New BFG's or 20x9 American mags with New 255x35 Fulda tires...YOUR CHOICE ON FINAL SALE

The car was "scuffed" and reshot the original color with a gold flake in the final  urethane clearcoat...Really nice!... The interior jams and hood/trunk area are original and perfect...as are the seats and rugs...Chrome is EXCELLENT and original...am/fm stereo cassette (no dash cuts)...rear speakers...  I just drove this car 700 miles r/t from Long Island to Syracuse (Right Coast Nats) without any issues...runs smooth and gets 16-17 mpg at highway speeds on regular gas....

Really a clean well running car with ZERO issues

I can deliver up to 200 MapQuest miles for $1.75 per mi. + tolls, assist your transporter, recommend a reliable transporter or you can fly in to any of the 3 NY area airports and drive home...NY Buyers will receive a Valid NYS Inspection and pay your appropriate county Sales Tax on our agreed final sale price.

LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK....I SELL REAL NICE CARS FOR FAIR PRICES

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

Thu, 29 Apr 2010

Chevrolet Camaro goes to South Korea - Click above for high-res image
General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
