Selling my 2000 Chevy Blazer 4WD. The vehicle runs great & looks great too. Has 138K miles on the engine, the transmission was fully rebuilt 4K miles ago & has worked perfectly ever since. Vehicle has been serviced regularly by professional mechanics. New rotors & brakes on back, new caliper. The body of the truck is clean and free of dents aside from one paint bubble over the rear wheel well but no rust visible there. The quarter panels, wheel wells & all trim which commonly rust out on these are solid and rust free on this one.

Clean interior comes with AM/FM/CD player W/Remote. Power windows/doors/hatch works properly. The far back rear hatch area you will find some paint splash or other light haul wear but the passenger sections of the truck are clean. The original owner told me a few years back "not one ass has been in that backseat" and since I've owned the truck, aside from my kids car seat, not one ass has been in it yet. The backseat is officially ass free! < Fun Fact..

The front seat has its general wear of being this age but looks great for its age. All equipment is firm/secure, armrest, controls, and things that generally go loose/bad. The only thing to note is the seats are welded into incline decline position. You can still move them back and forth but not incline or decline. I think the seats were prone to stripping out and so people would get into the most comfy position and then have them welded. So the seat is left in the perfect position & fixed for good.

Two things to note: The gas gauge doesn't work under 1/4 of a tank. Its like $300 to have fixed so I figured it was just easier & cheaper to not go under a 1/4. Secondly, needs an alignment, pulls to the right some. Other than that this is a great truck I spent a lot on to have the transmission rebuilt. Body & engine this truck should last you quite a while. Modest reserve. If you have any questions or want to look at in person just message me. Thanks for looking...

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
