Selling a 1963 Chevy C10. Has the original 6cyl 3 on the tree. Runs & drives good. Nice uncut original dash. No P/S or A/C but the heater blows hot. The floors are solid, has a few pin holes in the drivers side rocker, cab corner & it needs a patch panel on the lower passenger front fender. Just put a new exhaust system on it that's tucked up & exit's in front of the driver's side rear tire. Has OG California black plates. Air bagged front & rear with a monster notch in the back. Has 2 Viair 480 compressors and 1 five gallon air tank. Does Front, back, side to side & pancake. Just installed a brand new Accuair Valve Block & new rear shocks. Speedo doesn't work & it could use an electric fan or a fan shroud as it gets hot when idleing for a long time & the turn signal lever needs to be repaired. It cruises down the hiway at 65 no problem. Has newer 225/75/15 tires, brakes are good so is the clutch. Truck get's a lot of looks just the way it is or put a new paint job on it either way it's a cool shop truck or weekend cruiser. Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
