1998 Chevy K1500 Silverado - New engine only 9k miles on it 5.7L 350 - Transmission was rebuilt with a complete kit from Monster transmission with new torque converter SS Mega Monster kit less than 1k miles - There are two T-cases the factory one and a Dana 24 the Dana was just rebuilt new seals and bearings it makes some noise due to the gear to gear in the Dana 24 - It has all brand new driveshafts and U-joints - Front axle is a Dana 60 and 4.10 gears all new balljoints as well - Rear axle is a steerling 10.5 with new bearings and seals as well as brand new 4.10 gears - The Steering has been converted to cross over high steer as well and the knuckle was machined for this also has the extreme drop pitman arm - 44x19.5x20 pitbull rockers that have a little tread left as welll as 20 inch rockstars - The floor board has been completely covered in Line-X for easy rinse out after a fun day in the Mud - New Kenwood radio as well with USB hook up - Clean title as well and I drive it on the streets and hwy - Also just installed on 6-24-2014 I had exhaust installed all new cat back I hate to sell this truck but I am going a different way with my hobbies right now. |

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
