Pretty good old wagon.Has a few minor quirks.Have to sell.Front tires great shape and 1 year old, rear fair shape. All lights function, interior and exterior.Engine starts and runs out fine, typical slow 307.Transmission shifts fine, front seal blew out summer of 2011 replaced seal.Shop said fluid looked clean,no need to rebuild.Brakes stop car without making noises, brake pedal is firm.Inside the interior is average. The third row seat is not usable,I just kept it folded down for storage. The middle row is above average. The front seats show wear but are very comfy. The power seats work when they want to and quit when they want to. The rear tailgate window opens from the dash or via the lock. The drivers window controls rolls down all windows except right rear passenger window. That window can be operated using the switch at its door. The left rear window will not roll down by its own switch, must use drivers door switch.Whew. All climate control function work. AC leaks down after 2 months but blows cold when charged. The fan motor works in all but the highest setting. It is enough to kept the wagon cool in SC's hot summers and warm on chilliy days. And on those chilly days the speedo cable may squeak. The exterior has got its spots of minor rust but nothing major at all and no dents, she is not beat up.Call Me with questions.ASK ASK.8436018222 No calls after 10pm est.My jobs limits phone use during day leave message, I will answer messages. Scrap price reserve.

Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.
Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump
Mon, 11 Feb 2013To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.
Here are the new starting prices for all eight of the Malibu trim levels compared to the previous prices for the 2013 model year (including destination):
2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
