Here is a nice RARE 1972 Chevy Cheyenne C-20 4X4 longbed truck in really good condition for it age. This 4X4 has has 1 repaint in it''s life many years ago. The paint is good but not great. It has some surface rust on the body but the body is very solid and straight. No ate thru rust areas. The drivers door has 2 places where rust bubbles has popped up at the bottom of door. There is a place in the back of the bed toward the tail gate where there is a rusted thru place about the size of a Quarter. The truck is powered by a Crate GM 350 engine and is an automatic with the 350 turbo transmission. The interior is above average condition with no tears or rips. The carpet, headliner, seat and door panels all look good. This truck runs GREAT!! the 4 wheel drive works great with manuel locking hubs and it has the 205 transfer case. It also has a transmission cooler. This truck has factory power steering and now has 4 wheel disc brakes. It came with front disc but backs were added. It has working heat but the A/C was not put back on after engine swap. Everything is still there except compressor. All lights, blinkers and wipers work. It has a class 4 hitch on back and 34 inch All Terrain Tires that are new. All glass is good and windows roll up and down as they should. Added was a Pioneer Stereo System with a CD changer under the seat. Underside of truck looks good as well with a little rust on both cab corners but very little. I have taken 62 pictures of this truck so if you want to see more just let me know.

I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally. Sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. PRE SALE INSPECTIONS are welcomed and encouraged!! I have tried to describe the best I could but if you questions please ask. This truck has a clear clean Georgia Title. Thanks for your interest. Bid to win!!

GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns

Thu, 31 Jan 2013

Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
