I am listing this 1963 nova SS for a good friend on mine, His grandpa bought this car for him about 15 years ago before he was old enough to drive, He has kept the car in the garage ever since he got it, after he started driving he has only put a little over 1 thousand miles on it, He would get it out 1 or 2 times a year and take it to a car show. This is an Original SS 6 cylinder car, It is factory tuxedo black with red interior, The car was repainted 1 time about 20 years ago and still looks very nice, it has all the original body panels on it, The car is as nice on the underside as it is on top, The floors and trunk still look like they did when new, it starts and runs perfect , all the lights and gauges work great, even the glove box and console lights, every thing on it works like it should. It is one of the best running and driving old cars i have been in, You can decode the trim tag and its all like it came from GM, It is a True SS car and it was Black and Red from the factory. Really if you check the trim tag it had a lot of options, It has the original low miles and they are true 57000, This is not a perfect car but it has never been torn all apart and rebuilt just repainted, This car is really a true investment and the reserve is very reasonable for a car like this, It is a pleasure to drive and gets great gas milage as well. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.

Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
