This is an orginal 1971 Rally Nova with a L88 fiberglass hood and is factory 4 speed and A/C car. We purchased the car 2.5 years ago and at the time the motor approximently only had 1000 miles on the rebuilt then. The motor is a built 355 with gear to gear timing and throaty cam. It has a new edelbrock performer rpm intake and new holley 670 street avenger carburator w/elec. choke. The distributor is a new MSD ready to run drop in.  It has new plugs and wires.  The rear end is a factory 10 bolt and it has what we believe to be the factory Saginaw 4 speed transmission.  It has full length headmen header and 2.5 in exhaust and glass packs. It has new Cragar Street Star wheels, new carpet, dash pad, and package tray.  The front seats need recovered, needs a headliner, and the heater controls are stuck.  Both quarters have been replaced and the body is in very good condition.  There are cracks in the paint on the driver side rear quarter panel where the air shocks failed with the old tires hit and cracked the paint.  Other than that, the interrior is very, very nice.  The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early.  If you have less than 5 feedback, please contack me before you bid or your bid will be cancelled.  If you have any other questions, please call me @ six-05-490-1716.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
