This Charger was treated to a full XV Motorsports Level II suspension, brakes and chassis stiffening kit using the
billet upper control arm upgrade. A brand new 440hp 5.7 hemi crate motor was also installed along with a 5-speed
tko-600 transmission.
The interior was kept mostly stock in appearance with the exception of the seats. The gauges have been restored
and upgraded to work with the modern drive train and the radio has been upgraded with an iphone hook up. Seatbelts
were replaced with XV shoulder and lap belts and the window mechanisms with XV power windows. Other than that, it
is stock and in excellent condition.
The body of this car is very clean. The fenders, doors, quarters, hood and trunk appear to be originals and super
solid.
The chrome and trim is in very good condition as is the glass. Everything works on the car as it should.
The engine is electronic fuel injected, built by XV motorsports and dyno’d at 440hp. I recently changed the ECU
and all related wiring to a Holley Dominator EFI for more tunability. The car also has an aluminum radiator,
electronically controlled cooling fans, modern air conditioning…the list goes on and on.
The wheels are custom built 18x10 Boyds all around. 14” front and 13” rear XV Level II brakes.

How Dodge dealers are earning the right to sell Hellcats
Wed, 10 Sep 2014We all hate the idea of the dreaded dealer markup when it comes to buying a highly anticipated new car. Take the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, for example. You might spend hours reading about its supercharged V8 and speccing the model just right in the configurator, but when it finally comes down to laying down the cash, the dealer adds thousands of dollars as a "market adjustment" on the muscle machine of your dreams. As it turns out, when the Hellcat starts hitting showrooms in the third quarter, Dodge is trying to make sure that's not the case.
Dealer orders for the much-hyped Hellcat recently started, but Dodge boss Tim Kuniskis has put some special caveats in place to ensure that the Hellcat makes it to the road quickly. The initial allocation is based on the number of Dodge products that a showroom has sold in the last 180 days, and a second allotment in December is based on the last 90 days of sales and 30-day turnover. "You sell a lot of Darts for me, Journeys for me, Durangos for me, I'm going to give you the rights to this one, too, because this is a halo of the brand," said Kuniskis to Automotive News.
Furthermore, how quickly the Hellcat sells is also going to decide whether showrooms get more of them. "If you want to market-adjust the car, that's your right. But if your days-on-lot goes above what the other guys that are selling them at MSRP is, they will end up earning the allocation because their days-on-lot will be lower," he said to Automotive News. Obviously, this doesn't prevent dealers from marking up the Challenger SRT, but the strategy certainly discourages it.
QB says University of Alabama offered him a Corvette to play football
Fri, 16 May 2014The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team could be in some hot water, following a pair of posts on social media.
The first post was sure to raise a few eyebrows on its own. It's an Instagram of sophomore running back Derrick Henry standing in front of his new Dodge Challenger (we're guessing it's an R/T based on the fender stripes). Complete with a custom set of wheels, the image was enough to trigger more than a few questions about where an unemployed student-athlete came up with the money for such a purchase. Now, this could be harmless. Henry, flush with a full-ride to Bama could have convinced his parents to get him something nice with his college fund.
The second post, though, is a straight-up accusation. It comes from former West Virginia Mountaineer and current CFL quarterback Pat White, who posted the following on his Facebook page.
We cruised Woodward in the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat [w/video]
Tue, 19 Aug 2014
We were definitely rock stars at the 20th edition of the Dream Cruise.
The yell came from somewhere in the crowd: "Hey Hellcat, push it!" We obliged with a jab of the throttle, and the 707 horses of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat roared to life. It went on like this. All weekend. It's one thing to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise, it's quite another to star in it.
