1996 Dodge Intrepid W/ 3.5 Liter 24 Valve Engine on 2040-cars
Canton, Ohio, United States
I have been the owner of this vehicle for nearly a decade. I bought it from a small car-lot near me in Massillon, Ohio, which told me the car came from a private owner. Mechanically its in excellent condition, everything works, starts right up, no major oil leaks and the cars quiet. Everything operates strong inside the vehicle, heat, AC and everything power works just fine. Its been maintenance on a regular basis and detailed on occasion. This vehicle would be ideal for any individual whose skilled in frame & body work and looking for a reliable vehicle because just about everything else has been rebuilt, fixed or replaced. If the repairs it needs was completed and was gave a great detail, I would rate this vehicle in above excellent condition. For the past 8 years this car has mainly been driven back-and-fourth to College from Canton to North Canton. Since I have owned this vehicle, I have invested over $7000 in repairs and upgrades. The following is a list of what has been replaced on this 1996 Intrepid.
* Head Gaskets * Starter, Battery & Alternator * All Fluids Recently Changed * Transmission has been rebuilt back to factory standards by a certified mechanic * Brakes * Wiring Harness has been replaced by certified mechanic * Battery Harness * Body Mounts - all 8 * Oil Pan * Misc Parts on Motor * Misc Electrical * Suspension * Rear Struts * Front Light * Belts & Pully-System * Brand-new spare-tire on brand-new matching rim |

Chrysler extending production of current Dodge Avenger, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Caravan
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Are you hesitant to pull the trigger on a brand new Dodge Avenger in hopes that a new one will be coming? Well, don't hold your breath. According to The Detroit News, Chrysler will be extending production of the current Avenger sedan through the end of 2015.
Originally, we heard that the company would kill the Avenger to better focus its midsize sedan efforts on the Chrysler 200 replacement. But then new reports stated there would indeed be an Avenger successor, and that we could see it as early as next January. This Detroit News report cites supplier sources confirming the extension of Avenger production, though Chrysler has not released an official statement on the matter.
These same suppliers say that the current Jeep Wrangler will live on through mid-2018 - that's right, another five years. The Detroit News reports that a replacement for the iconic, go-anywhere Jeep was due in mid-2016.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
Wed, 29 Oct 2014Including all-wheel-drive models, there are ten versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger. The tenth variant - better described as the ten-tenths variant and the topmost model - is this Charger SRT Hellcat.
Superficially, you already know what it is: take the massively powerful Hellcat engine that's Frankensteined into the Dodge Challenger and stitch it into the recently facelifted Charger sedan.
Oh, but that would be superficial knowledge indeed. Russ Ruedisueli, vehicle line executive and head engineer for SRT, claims the Charger Hellcat is, "The industry's most irreverent four-door supercar." We looked up the word "irreverent" in the Oxford dictionaries, and it turns out the word doesn't mean "707 horsepower," nor "650 pound-feet of torque" nor "3.7-second 0-60 time, and seats five adults." It does mean, "Showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously."
