If you are in the market for a beautiful 7-passenger Dodge Journey and don't mind a few extra miles if it has been well cared for and serviced then you are going to LOVE my 2009 SXT V-6 model that is a 1-owner southern vehicle that has been serviced at the Dodge dealership and is in great shape inside and out! You need to see this Journey in person to appreciate just how clean it really is, amazing for the miles. It has a clean Autocheck report showing no accidents or problems and it shows that the 1-owner took it to the Dodge dealer for services. It received a great score of 83 points out of an average rating of between 74-82 points so you know it has a great history. It has been in Georgia and Florida it's whole life out of the harsh winters of the north and it shows, there is NO rust and even the underside still looks near new, you won't see that on any northern vehicle. It is spotless inside and out and it is a non-smoker's vehicle so it is very fresh inside with no stains or odors. The exterior looks great with a deep Dodge shine and no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. The aluminum wheels look nice and there are near new matching tires all around to help give it a smooth and quiet ride. The interior too is very clean and all the power options work including the ice cold dual air conditioning and 6-cd stereo. Sometimes you have to play with the cd a bit when you put it in but it works fine. There is third row seating so there is enough room for seven adults if need be and there is also plenty of head and legroom both front and rear. The seats are a very attractive two tone for a nice look. What a pleasure to drive. The peppy V-6 runs smooth as silk with no issues and will deliver very good gas mileage as well. There are no rattles and it is tight as new, obviously well cared for. I'm sure that most of the miles are highway miles, they put on 78k miles the first two years! In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.

Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.

Dodge and Mopar have never strayed far from success in drag racing, be it on run-what-you-brung nights at the local strip or at the highest levels of the sport. Hoping to both add to that heritage and capitalize on some of the media spotlight that's shown so brightly on the brand of late, Dodge has given us our first look at the 2015 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak test car.
Though this first iteration doesn't make use of the 707-horsepower Hellcat engine, it seems to be a pretty formidable racing package. Starting with a stock '15 Challenger, Mopar adds a full roll cage built to National Hot Rod Association specs. Rubber front and back is drag racing-ready as well, with 28x4.5-inch tires in the front, and fat 30x9-inch tires out back - all from Hoosier.
Powering the beast is a massive 426-cubic-inch (7.0-liter) Hemi Race V8, with output levels that are still unspecified. A Chrysler 727 automatic transmission connects up to a racing style shift lever, with integral line lock.
