1970 Dodge Charger Se 500 on 2040-cars
Toledo, Ohio, United States
1970 Dodge Charger SE 500. 440 Mopar Signature block all receipts included for engine, transmission, rear end,
suspension, wheels, exhaust etc. The engine was balanced and includes dyno sheets. 598 max Hp 632 max torque. Car
was originally equipped with a 383. Charger has excellent original floors, frame and trunk. Looks like 1 repaint of
the original F8 green at which time it had some work done to lower quarters and a little on the lower front
fenders. By no means a high quality show car paint job but is presentable with some rust showing in the repaired
areas from the past. The original vinyl top is in very good condition and shows no signs of rust bubbling
underneath. The car's suspension and drive train has been gone through and updated over the last few years and
done right, once again all receipts will be included. The rear end is a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears with a diff lock
upgrade. A built 727 torque flight automatic transmission. Original interior is in very good condition. Headlights
operate as they should. Gauges work, horn works, even the ignition buzzer still works as well as windshield wipers,
heater and radio. Glass is all excellent. The trunk is original and solid and still house's original jack and
spare. This is a solid car that can be driven as is or If you want a show quality paint job this one would need far
less bodywork than most.

Dodge Journey gets new $24,895* SE V6 AWD model
Wed, 12 Mar 2014While the Dodge Journey crossover remains largely unchanged for the 2014 model year, there are two new flavors of the seven-passenger CUV on offer: the butch-looking Crossroad, and the SE V6 AWD, pictured right, which makes its debut today. As its name suggests, this new Journey model features the automaker's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, and offers all-wheel drive, which, with a starting price of $24,895 (*excluding $995 for destination), reduces the cost-of-entry for an AWD-equipped Journey by $1,800 versus the SXT AWD model. Chrysler recalling 780k minivans over fire risk
Fri, 09 May 2014Chrysler is recalling 780,000 of its Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2010 to 2014 model years due to the possibility of circuits overheating, which can lead to a fire. Of the 780,000 total vans being recalled, Chrysler estimates that 644,850 are in the US, 106,980 are in Canada, 8,009 are in Mexico, and 20,638 are in other markets. All of the affected vehicles were built between August 25, 2010 and October 31, 2013.
Chrysler's engineers discovered that beverage spills or exposure to moisture (from rain, snow, car washes, and the like) were linked to circuits shorting in the window switch assembly. Short circuits can overheat, and thus, cause a fire.
Chrysler will contact owners and let them know when they may schedule service, at which point, the window switches will be replaced. In the interim, the automaker says that owners may visit their dealers after May 14 to have the switches disconnected.
Chrysler recalling 2009-2010 Ram 1500, Dodge Dakota pickups over axle pinion nut
Mon, 08 Oct 2012Chrysler is issuing a recall for the 2009 and 2010 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota pickup trucks due to improper installation of the rear axle pinion nut. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a total of 44,300 trucks are affected by the recall, and there have been 12 confirmed incidents including one crash.
The issue on both trucks is that the pinion nut is loosening on some trucks due to a lack of thread adhesive, and it is causing the rear axle to lock up resulting in loss of vehicle control. NHTSA's recall notice says that eight incidents occurred at speeds over 35 miles per hour and most also exhibited driveshaft failures as well since the loss of the pinion nut would cause the gear to separate from the driveshaft. In one complaint, the driveshaft separated from the rear axle and punctured the gas tank.
Chrysler will begin sending out recall notices to affected owners in November, but scroll down to see the official NHTSA notice.
