I am selling a 1972 Dodge Charger 400 MAGNUM motor with a 727 automatic transmission and air conditioning motor trans radiator rear end are all original including the carburator  as far as the body and paint go when I purchased the car back in fall of 2003 off 1 of my customers the car was Green with a bench seat and a white vinyl top. I sent the car to a local body shop and had them change the color to a 2000 Chrysler Black with pearl metal flake and put the spoiler on it and the power bulg hood on it.  I had the center of the hood painted 2002 Chrysler 300 silver with Black pearl in it along with the spoiler I then had it sent to the interior shop and had the seats redone and the headliner and carpet put in remember this was a bench seat car the shifter block and linkage and console were professionally installed to all factory specs and put in the correct place anybody that knows mopar knows what I am talking about the factory marks are stamped on the floor for the floor mounted shifters. The steering column was also replaced to make it correct with the floor shifter. The seats are done in Black with dark grey inserts these are correct 1972 seats for a b-body

the dash pad was purchased at a mopar swap meet it was a NOS original dash pad that was $1,000 on it's own.   When I had the vinyl top put on it I was not happy with it so I purchased a new 1 still in the box never put it on. Now this was all done 10 years ago since then there has been tops 400 miles put on the car.
Reason being in 2004 I bought a 1971 Road Runner  and sold the car to my brother the title is still in my name he was going to finish the car but never did and does not have time for it so he asked me to sell it for him this is a nice car to drive to your local weekday car shows it looks good and gets it's share of compliments it's no trailer queen and will have to be repainted again do to some light scratches  and lite chips that if they were not pointed out you would not see them. Engine needs to be painted and cleaned up runs and drives great front end is all tight transmission was completely rebuilt brakes are perfect need's master as of today but have new 1 and putting that on before it sells.  Besides the drivers door arm rest pad not there, the interior is mint better then factory am/fm factory radio works. a/c does not also heater core leak so we disconnected it. Like I said it not perfect but better then anything I seen for the price by far.
We have a ton of receipts from work that has been done on this car since it was new along with the build sheet that is mint and the tag is still under the hood.  Also the car was purchased from a local dodge dealer here in Wisconsin called Peters Dodge that is where my dad worked back in the late 60's to mid 70's as a heavy duty mechanic.
Also the exhaust was put on when car was being done 2 1/2 pipes with flow masters I think that was to much and seems like a bit of over kill on the motor so I would probably replace that if you want like i said they are brand new and there are no exhaust leaks I looked under the car and there is no rust on the pipes at all.  I did not put the factory tail pipes on it they were to much at that time like $600.00
The 400 MAGNUM badges that are on the hood are not after market they did not remake those when I was doing the car they had everything but the 400 MAGNUM badges so I found that set NOS and paid $800.00 for the pair.   As far as the badges on the trunk go those are original as far as I know.  The front bumper is in pretty nice shape the rear bumper is new the rear valance is off a r/t with the exhaust cuts in it.

If you have anymore questions I will be happy to answer them

Chrysler recalling 780k minivans over fire risk

Fri, 09 May 2014

Chrysler is recalling 780,000 of its Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2010 to 2014 model years due to the possibility of circuits overheating, which can lead to a fire. Of the 780,000 total vans being recalled, Chrysler estimates that 644,850 are in the US, 106,980 are in Canada, 8,009 are in Mexico, and 20,638 are in other markets. All of the affected vehicles were built between August 25, 2010 and October 31, 2013.
Chrysler's engineers discovered that beverage spills or exposure to moisture (from rain, snow, car washes, and the like) were linked to circuits shorting in the window switch assembly. Short circuits can overheat, and thus, cause a fire.
Chrysler will contact owners and let them know when they may schedule service, at which point, the window switches will be replaced. In the interim, the automaker says that owners may visit their dealers after May 14 to have the switches disconnected.

Chrysler killing off the 200 Convertible, Dodge Avenger

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When Chrysler rolled out the first-generation 200 to replace the Sebring range in 2010, it included replacements for both the sedan and the convertible. The Sebring Coupe, however, was left out of the mix. And now that the second-generation Chrysler 200 is descending upon us, Auburn Hills is paring things down even further. But this time, it's the convertible that reportedly isn't making the cut. Shame, too, since the rendering above shows what could have been quite an attractive droptop.
As our compatriots at Edmunds point out, sales of the convertible model accounted for less than five percent of overall Chrysler 200 sales, and at those numbers, the considerable cost of engineering a new drop-top couldn't be justified. With the Toyota Camry Solara and Volkswagen Eos also gone from the market (well, the VW isn't gone quite yet), the discontinuation of the Chrysler 200 Convertible leaves the affordable convertible segment largely to the sportier likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro and smaller European offerings like the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle.
The Chrysler 200 Convertible isn't the only derivative being left behind with the new model: so too is the Dodge Avenger. That will leave a glaring hole in the Dodge lineup, with nothing to bridge the gap between the compact Dart and the larger Charger. Whether the Dodge brand has any plans to replace the Avenger with another model, not to be based on the 200, remains to be seen.

Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.
