Well here it is! I never thought I would get rid of this one, but as we all know things in your life change.
This is my 1974 W-200 Crew Cab Powerwagon which was featured in the August 2012 issue of Mopar Muscle Magazine.
This truck started out as a fire truck at the Talladega Alabama airport and was purchased by a guy in Tennessee who I bought it from with just under 37,000 miles. When I bought it, it had many coats of paint on it, but the original was red. The entire truck was disassembled and media blasted in 2010 and at that time I was amazed that after over 35 years there was absolutely NO rust on this truck anywhere. The truck was repainted with an epoxy primer and Viper Red paint and is still rust free except for a small bubble on the bed by the wheel well. I also installed modern interior from a 2008 Dodge crew cab and even fabricated the storage under the rear seats. The truck was also given a set of new BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 35 x 12.5R 16.5 Tires (they only have about 200 miles on them and I have a 5th tire that has 0 miles) and the engine was taken down to the short block, cleaned, given all new gaskets and re-assembled with a new aluminum manifold, new distributer, air cleaner with cold air intake, Mopar valve covers, Hooker ceramic coated headers, and a Holly Truck Avenger carb. This truck is very clean and enjoyable to drive. It has a 4 speed with a granny gear, but you can still cruise at 70 mph. The truck had the 6" Rough Country lift kit on it when I bought it, I just added the tires. I could never list everything that was done to this truck, but that is the most important stuff. You will also get a lot of extra parts including an extra fuel tank, and the original in cab fuel tank, a good steering wheel with no cracks, the original tires and wheels, a spare windshield, and all the stuff to add A/C (the guy I bought it from stripped down another truck and gave that to me), and much more. my reserve is very low and probably a lot less than what I have in this truck. I also have a ton of photos documenting the entire restoration that I will put on a disc for you and copies of the Mopar Muscle Magazine. I am located just outside Ft. Wayne Indiana. Please feel free to ask any questions. A $1,000.00 deposit is required via pay-pal within 24 hours of auctions end.
This W-200 has a Dana 60 in the rear and a Dana 44 up front with locking hubs and a NP 205 transfer case
On Jun-24-13 at 06:09:08 PDT, seller added the following information:
I just bought new speakers for the JVC stereo, They are still in the box so the stereo is not hooked up
The truck also has a custom exhaust system with Flowmasters and an H pipe.

Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
Dodge to resurrect Scat Pack?
Fri, 27 Sep 2013Before social media ever existed, if automotive enthusiasts wanted to be noticed or recognize other fans, they joined a car club. For Dodge muscle car lovers from 1968 through 1971, that group was known as the Scat Pack. Just like the Charger, Challenger and Dart nameplates, it looks like the Scat Pack could be getting a resurrection by Chrysler.
Automotive News is reporting that Chrysler recently renewed its trademark on the Scat Pack name, and while this is in no way a guarantee that the name will return, AN talked to Tim Kuniskis, Dodge President and CEO, who stoked the fire a little more. In the article, Kuniskis said that the name is "a very important part of our history" and added that "we like the whole idea of having a Scat Pack of cars." Scat Pack models were identified by their bumblebee stripes and helmet-wearing bumblebee logo, and the idea of a modern Scat Pack doesn't seem all that outlandish in light of recent vehicles like the Charger SRT Super Bee and the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Concept.
What do you think, is this a cool idea, or is it just an unwelcome bit of nostalgia? Have you say in Comments.
Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
