6.0L diesel powerstroke that is all stock except for an aftermarket muffler 6" Fabtech lift Replaced radius arms (part of the lift) for a much sleeker look Fabtech reservoir shocks (2 per tire on all 4 corners) Spring lift in the rear - not blocks power auto retracting running boards Automatic remote control metal tonneau cover that opens and closes with the click of a button. spray in bedliner 20" Mickey Thompson bead lock looking wheels and 35" tires about 50+% left Heavy duty mud flaps that are removeable if you have the need Power moonroof dual power heated bucket seats w center console power adjustable pedals power sliding rear window integrated brake controller 6 disc CD changer Driver info center w display for mileage and other neat things digital AC tinted windows extendable towing mirrors Bully Dog tuner I just took a trip back and forth to Los Angeles on 3/20 and the truck did everything you would expect. No engine lights, no noises, no issues - just a darn near new truck. The only couple of things that are "wrong" with the truck are a small ding in the tailgate (size of a nickel - shown in a picture) and some rock chips near the bottom (see picture) of the truck where the tires have thrown a rock or so. Other than that, this is literally as nice as you could ever expect. No disappointments at all. Price - I looked at kbb and bone stock this truck looks to be worth 27-28 depending on if you put in very good condition or excellent private party. I have to think I can get some of the extras back, but certainly know I cant get it all back. Add it up - lift with shocks $4++, tires and wheels $3, running boards $1500, electric tonneau $1. Come have a look and I know that if you want a super clean low mileage diesel

This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like
Sat, 12 Oct 2013Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.
Ford builds two-millionth EcoBoost engine
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Ford's EcoBoost engine lineup is only four years old, but it is growing into an important and popular global engine. As proof of its popularity, Ford just produced its 2 millionth EcoBoost engine - a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder - which rolled off the assembly line in Louisville, Kentucky under the hood of an Escape.
Ford now offers five EcoBoost engines around the world ranging from the 1.0-liter inline-three to the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, and the automaker is expanding production of two of its engine lines to keep up with demand. Earlier this year, Ford announced that the 2.0-liter EcoBoost would be built in Cleveland, Ohio starting in 2014 and, more recently, Ford said that it will be doubling production of the 1.0-liter EcoBoost in Germany. That turbo-three will also be produced in China at a new Ford engine plant in Chongqing.
Scroll down for Ford's full press release on this EcoBoost production milestone, including a breakdown of where all the engines were made.
Ford 3D-printing Mustang out of chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day
Thu, 13 Feb 2014Is your beloved in love with the new 2015 Ford Mustang? Do they like chocolate (that's a trick question - everyone likes chocolate)? Are they a bit of a futurist? Then this Hallmark holiday, you need to get them this Ford Mustang, 3D-printed in sweet, delicious chocolate.
Ford is teaming with 3D Systems' Sugar Lab in LA to produce the super-accurate pony car confections in both chocolate and sugar candy varieties. The process kicked off with a CAD rendering of the 2015 Mustang, which was then programmed into the 3D printer. After a bit of work from the machine, a four-inch long, two-inch tall Mustang was the result. Why the tieup with 3D Systems, though?
"We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car," said Paul Susalla, Ford's supervisor of 3D printing.
