I'm selling my 67 Galaxie 500 this car NEEDS to be restored I started the work last year and got a bad back injury so I have to sell it . When I got it the engine was seized up so I removed the front cap and the engine took me two days to take the thing apart it had broken a rod . The engine is at the machine shop was going to have it rebuilt , just haven't had the time. Wrights machine shop Fayetteville ,Tennessee (931) 433-5845 incase you want to check on it . I will pick it up and it goes with the car it is numbers matching . Mr. Wright said it has some slight scratches in 2 of the bores but it is ok and can be built. No money is owed on it I just have to go get it . I will before the auction ends have it here with the car. The transmission is good and works. The interior is in really good shape and I feel should not be changed with the exception of the door panels they could used a little love maybe can be saved the boards are great. It does have a few dents that need to be fixed and the passenger side rear tail light is cracked. The floor pans are in great shape along with the trunk. I have all the parts for the car except front bumper, alternator, trunk lock. All the glass is good and the chrome trim to my best knowledge . 2015 Ford C-Max gets a corporate nose job [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014Ford might not have the splashiest booth here at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the automaker is showing off quite a bit of hardware that will actually end up on roads across Europe. Parisians are no doubt tickled at getting to see the specifications of the Mustang tuned for The Continent (which has a revised suspension for European roads, and a few visual nips and tucks), in addition to the revised face of the family-friendly C-Max.
As you can see, C-Max styling has been revisited with a deft touch, grafting Ford's six-sided corporate grille on the nose, in place of the outgoing car's two-part affair. New headlights can also be found on the car's revised front fascia, though the rear end of the C-Max looks only slightly different than the current version.
Inside the cabin, Ford has consolidated controls and upped the ante in terms of material quality, with "black satin" and chrome details and more storage capacity, overall. Grocery-lugging moms and dads everywhere should appreciate the hands-free liftgate feature, as well.
Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft
Tue, 07 Jan 2014In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.
