Muncie, Indiana, United States

1926 Model T Tudor sedan.
VIN issued by  Nebraska as 1926 Model T Tudor VIN NEBR007419 after custom upgrades.
Mustang II car used to custom build the complete driveline.
Mustang V-6 A.T. 8.8 rear end gear ratio unknown.
Car started out 4 lug Ford pattern added adapters to convert it to 5 on 4-1/2 5 lug pattern.
Nice used American racing torque thrusts 17 inch wheels with Kumo 245/45/17 tires. 75% tread left or more.
About the car features:  Louvered hood, brand new complete vinyl interior .Excellent condition.
Fiberglass fenders appear to be front and rear..
Paint is a 9 out 10 job never wet sanded or buffed.
Has Nostalgic spare tire mounted that serves as license plate bracket.
Hand engine crank disconnected only there for nostalgic looks.
Car runs smooth holds 30 psi oil pressure at idle. Never runs hot. good charging system and battery.
All lights signals and horn works.
This car is tastefully done and looks great.  Represents itself well show or go!
The bad: Someone scratched the right front fender with the hood edge in behind the headlight not real noticable but there.
Has some road chips in paint here and there but we are talking very minor!
Brakes disc in front drum in rear.
Since built using a Mustang II whoever built it left the brake booster off it and brakes need an upgrade.
Cherry bomb glass pack mufflers sounds loud and a V-6 dont sound to muscular. LOL
I dont know much about long trips on the car as I took it in on trade and have only driven it around a few blocks now and then.
I honestly would say its not an Interstate driver. 70 mph might be a handful. 40 mph is no problem.
See my feedback 100% POSITIVE because I do not lie about what I am selling and want buyers to know what I know in advance of bidding.
This car is for sale in other venues so I must reserve the right to remove it from ebay at any time due to a possible sale outside Ebay.
Not a perfect show car but with a little love it could make you a very nice car  anyone would be proud to show and go.

Hennessey completes first VelociRaptor SUV conversion [w/video]

Mon, 20 May 2013

Start with a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor as your base vehicle for modification, and chances are high that you'll end up with something pretty cool. Now, have those modifications done by professional lunatics Hennessey Performance, make the project turning the pickup into an ultra-long SUV, and the result stands a real chance of being a total kick in the ass. Let us present the Hennessey VelociRaptor then, in all of its awesomeness.
Hennessey has taken care in grafting a "Expedition style" rear cabin onto the Raptor, complete with an optional third row. The pictures we have show a cabin that's up to the fit and finish standards of the original Ford truck, too. The cab added over the bed also makes room for a massive load space out back, accessible via split out-folding doors and long enough for a person to lay down in (see video).
Mechanically, the truck-turned-SUV sticks with Ford's stock 6.2-liter V8, rated at 411 horsepower, or can be had with a supercharger and some 600 hp. Hennessey says the stock-motor VelociRaptor will run from 0-60 miles per hour in 7.5 seconds, while the hi-po version takes just 5.9 seconds. The SUV does take some of the off-road ability away from the Raptor, with the company saying it hasn't yet had the opportunity to test its capabilities. On-roading and "moderate off-road duties" are the current prescription.

Ford rolls out diesel Focus ST at Goodwood [w/poll]

Sun, 29 Jun 2014

If you're in the market for a hot hatch, there are some excellent choices at your disposal - especially if you live in Europe. But if you want a diesel, well, your choices become rather more limited. Volkswagen tends to that niche market with the Golf GTD (essentially an oil-burning version of the GTI available Stateside), but that's about the extent of it. The pleas of those looking for more diesel-burning hot hatch choices haven't fallen on deaf ears at Ford, with the Blue Oval not only rolling out a facelifted gas-powered Focus ST at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, but also a new diesel version as well.
The diesel Focus ST (which we hope and pray isn't marketed as the STD) packs a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four producing 182 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque to propel the oil-burning hot hatch to 62 in 8.1 seconds en route to a top speed of 135 miles per hour. With less power and only slightly more torque, that makes the diesel Focus ST considerably slower than the gasoline one, which packs 252 hp and 270 lb-ft, runs to 62 in 6.5 seconds and tops out at 154 mph, but (in a testament to how far particulate filters have come) the diesel model cuts carbon emissions by nearly a third compared to the petrol version and returns about 50-percent better fuel economy, which makes that much more of a difference in markets where diesel is already priced better than gasoline at the pump.
For buyers who wouldn't consider anything other than a diesel, it also represents 23-percent more power than the previous top-level diesel Focus. The VW Golf GTD, for reference, offers up 181 hp (just 1 horse less), 280 lb-ft (15 fewer torques) but is somehow estimated to reach 60 in a considerably fleeter 7.4 seconds.

Jerry Seinfeld doesn't love Sarah Jessica Parker's new Country Squire in latest CiCGC

Fri, 20 Jun 2014

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has finally returned for its fourth season of combining Jerry Seinfeld, a miscellaneous celebrity and a cup of java. But rather than fondly remembering some older piece of automotive machinery, this time around, Seinfeld is utterly unable to keep his hatred of Sarah Jessica Parker's 1976 Ford LTD Country Squire from coming out to hilarious effect.
However, Parker has such a high level of infectious enthusiasm for her recently purchased Country Squire that she seems to win over Seinfeld by the end - at least a little bit. For most of their time together, the two of them drive around Manhattan and the suburbs waxing nostalgic about what things were like when these wagons were ubiquitous.
Since this is actually SJP's car, she and Seinfeld trade off driving duties, and the image above should give you some indication of Seinfeld's reaction to the Sex and the City star behind the wheel. It seems this '70s land yacht might be a little too much for her to handle in New York traffic. Regardless, she is absolutely in love with her Ford.
