1989 Ford Bronco - Eddie Bower Edition - Pa Classic Car Title on 2040-cars
Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, United States
1989 FORD Bronco - Eddie Bower Edition Pennsylvania Classic Car Title (Since 2006) Never been in an accident, off road, or plowed snow. Please Note: I would like it picked up as soon as possible. Sold as is, where is I am disabled & have a hard time getting in & out anymore. I will try to upload better pix soon. Took off my Classic Plates(not shown), as some one tried to steal them, PA requires a vehicle be show room condition to procure Classic or Antique Title & Plates. Note: Car(PA. titles a Bronco as a Station Wagon) is not currently inspected. Due to new Pennsylvania DMV law this vehicle can only be junked in PA or sold for parts as we do not have photo ID for both signatures of owners & re-titled as salvaged. If sold to out of state buyer there is no problem, I have the signed clear & free title for you & will also furnish a bill of sale. Last driven Sept. 2012 to move a small landscapers trailer, before that not since Feb. 2011. Battery went out, so it needs a battery, may need a new starter or just removal & cleaning as oil pan gasket started leaking & may have bad ground, ask me questions, 24 hours may be required for a response. The 351 Windsor may also need some regasketing since it has been sitting so long. Willing to part out, Bed Cap has never been removed & in excellent shape, Drivers seat needs new mounting hardware, & rear window not working(Motor or broken wire?). May need starter or just, removal & cleaning of grime for good ground. Two(2) new tires(cost about $400 wholesale) 10.50X32X15, on front. Has AM/FM/CD Quad-Stereo Radio with removable Front Control Panel(Anti-Theft Deterent). Spare Tire is shown on Passenger side rear, the other wheel is off the car as I was going to have a new sticker tire mounted & never did, so you are buying 2 new tires, 5 good rims & 3 used tires with this Bronco. I also had the 36 gallon gas tank replaced in 2009 with a brand new one, not a used one! Great for making a rock crawler, or as a Classic/Antique with minor cosmetic work & paint touch up, for new photos. All drive-line was in good operating condition, semi-automatic 4X4 & Automatic Transmission. A good winter project. Note: If parting out occurs, I already have an offer for the 351 C.I. Windsor 5.8L. V-8 Engine & the Stirrup Steps. If you have any questions please ask 24 hours before this item ends, thank you very much for looking! Ford to show special edition Raptor on April 9
Mon, 01 Apr 2013There are precious few details, but what we do know is that Ford will be revealing images of "appearance upgrades" for a special-edition 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor on April 9. The slideshow will happen during a Motor Press Guild luncheon at Ford's Design Center Showroom in Irvine, California.
Without photos or further details, we're left to wonder about the extent of these changes, but aren't expecting anything too significant given the venue. Ford is understood to be revealing a next-generation F-150 with a big weight loss - as much as 700 pounds - for 2014, though it isn't yet clear if that's the truck's model year or simply its on-sale year. For at least a couple of years, Ford forums have been suggesting changes will come with the 2014 Raptor, so there could still be a bigger surprise in store. Either way, we'll know what all this means in a little more than a week. The press release below has the official details, but for the moment, we'll content ourselves by ogling the 2013 model above.
Detroit Three autoworkers could get huge bonuses
Mon, 06 Jan 2014For a long time, being a line worker for one of the Detroit Three has meant living with an uncertain future. With the health of American automakers on the rise, though, things are also starting to look up for the men and women building the cars. The latest sign that things aren't bad? Big profit-sharing checks.
According to The Detroit News, Ford, General Motors and Chrysler could end up paying over $800 million to 130,000 workers as part of a profit-sharing plan. According to The News, the economic impact of these profits in Michigan alone could exceed $400 million, besting the NFL's Super Bowl, MLB's All-Star Game and the NHL's Winter Classic for their economic impact.
This is the third straight year the Detroit Three have issued profit-sharing checks to UAW employees, and for many workers, the checks are as close as they'll get to a raise, due to the most recent contract between the union and the manufacturers. On average, employees at GM and Ford receive $1 for every $1 million in North American (not just the US) pre-tax profits. Chrysler, meanwhile, gets a similar deal, although the Auburn Hills-based company calculates profit sharing using 85 percent of the brand's global profits.
Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500. Scroll down for a press release celebrating Flat Rock's milestone Mustang.
