This is a 1956 Ford Truck F100 Custom Cab Big Window Project Truck!!! I have not had the truck long, The Truck had been siting for quite a few years before I got to it. Still a Very Nice start to a BW Truck!! The Previous owner installed a engine and trans from a 1982 Mustang GT 302 with a 4 Speed Manual Overdrive tranny. They did not finish the change so it sat. Body- The truck is Straight, it has The Front and Rear SS Trim and glass is good, except for doors glass missing driver and pass cracked. The Dash is Clean no extra holes, just a great example of an Untouched Dash. The Seat is Missing, and it has a Mustang Steering Column and Gear box, It works Great its Tight! cab corners do have some rust (not bad) Please see Pics, and the Driver door has rust at bottom, pass door also starting to show rust. Roof Is Good No Rust through! Over all the Truck has some Straight Body Panels!! Not perfect but Good!!. Running Boards could use some straightening. Please look at Pics!!! Has Ply wood in Bed, and will still need some bolts here and there on the truck. Chassis- Frame needs some cleaning but it has Stock Chassis!!! I have not worked on the brakes but it Steers!!! Wheels are old school Mags and the Tires are ok! Just Rollers!! Engine - From what I can tell its a Ford 302 HO and Trans is a 4 Speed manual w/overdrive! I don't know anything about the motor other than what the previous Owner told me and it Came out of a Running Mustang and it was fast!! I do not know the condition of the engine or trans. I would guess that it wouldn't take much to get running, but I cant Confirm that. I do not like the way the mounts were set up so they will need some attention. Not exactly sure what it needs other than a starter and Dist Cap!! and wires! I'm sure who ever gets this Big Window will have there own idea on what they will do! Here's your Chance to Own a Big Window Truck and not Spend a ton of money buying one done someone's else's way! This is a Project Truck and will make a Very Nice Truck when completed. Its all there!!! This is a numbers Matching Truck as far as Title, Vin Tag and Frame Numbers!! and a California Built Truck!!! It don't get much better!! I am trying to describe the truck the best I can. I have not have it long. Title is Clear and in My name with a Ca Non Op. I will sell overseas and will help with loading on my end as much as possible. There will be a $500.00 Deposit due within 3 days at end of auction through pay pal with the remaining balance to be paid within 6 Days at end of auction Unless other arrangements are made! it will be Cash, or Certified Bank Cashers Check Or Bank Transfer. If you have any Questions Please ask!!!
On Sep-02-14 at 15:46:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Just want to be clear on the trans I believe its a 4 speed Manual Trans, I was told it has Overdrive but I'm not sure how it works on a Manual Trans. On the Subtitle I put 5 speed, I Meant 4 speed, just want to be clear! Thx!! |

Ring Brothers shows 1965-66 Mustang fastback carbon fiber body
Thu, 07 Nov 2013We covered one of Ring Brothers' more extreme SEMA builds yesterday, the De Tomaso Pantera-based ADRNLN, but if that well-executed but over-the-top Italian-American exotic is too much for you, then perhaps this Ring Brothers 1965 Ford Mustang fastback with a carbon-fiber body suits your tastes better.
What the performance-parts manufacturer is showcasing with the Mustang is the carbon-fiber body itself, which is fashioned around the 1965-66 fastback. It can be bought from the company and bonded to the skin and unibody as a do-it-yourself project, or you can take your Mustang to Ring Brothers and have the body installed there. The fenders, doors and quarter panels are two-inches wider than stock, and Ring Brothers offers a custom widebody chassis to those who want the complete package.
The show car looks sharp in person lowered on HRE wheels, and we appreciate the bare front end so we can see the supercharged V8 and front coilover suspension, though the details on those performance upgrades are slim. Also note the custom independent rear suspension setup at the rear.
Ford-sponsored survey says a third of Brits have snapped a 'selfie' while driving [w/videos]
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Talking on the phone while driving isn't advisable, and texting while driving is downright dangerous. Considering those truths, the fact that we even need to point this out this is incredibly disturbing: taking "selfies" while behind the wheel is exceptionally stupid. But, it's a thing that a third of 18- to 24-year-old British drivers have copped to doing, according to a new study from Ford.
Ford, through its Driving Skills for Life program, surveyed 7,000 smartphone owners from across Europe, all aged between 18 and 24, and found that young British drivers were more likely to snap a selfie while behind the wheel than their counterparts in Germany, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
According to the study, the average selfie takes 14 seconds, which, while traveling at 60 miles per hour, is long enough to travel over the length of nearly four football fields (the Ford study uses soccer fields, but we translated it to football, because, you know, America). That's an extremely dangerous distance to not be focused on the road.
2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid
Thu, 02 May 2013No Prius Killer
As much as we enthusiasts like to rail on the lowly Toyota Prius as the harbinger of death for all we hold dear, there's no denying the machine's absolute and interminable grip on the hybrid hatchback market in the United States. Toyota has so thoroughly sunk its teeth into the segment that you can clearly hear the automaker's incisors clacking against one another with the conclusion of each financial quarter. And there's little wonder why. Buyers can plop down less than $25,000 and have a runabout that can return up to an estimated 51 miles per gallon in the city, leaving every other entry on the market with precious little gristle to gnaw on.
Enter the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. With its claimed 47 mpg combined, the funky little hatch from Europe already falls behind the 48 mpg city offered by the Prius, but that marginal sacrifice in fuel economy could be a small price to pay for buyers who want a credible alternative to the stalwart Toyota. Unfortunately, like the Fusion Hybrid, the C-Max Hybrid had trouble even approaching its Environmental Protection Agency estimates during our time with the car.
