***there are some 1968 characteristics on this truck, the title says 1967***

Straight 6 Engine (rebuilt)
3 on Tree Manual Transmission
Air Conditioning (not operating)
Snow Tires with lots of tread
Solid Floors

This truck spent its life at Phantom Lakes Ranch in Red Feather Colorado, in which it was then auctioned off. I purchased the truck from the gentleman that won the auction. He claimed that the truck's mileage is the actual mileage (18,000 which is not hard to believe, especially if it spent its entire life on a ranch), I cannot verify this. The truck appears to have maybe been repainted on at least the interior, maybe interior and exterior. The paint has a cool original faded, but still nice look to it. The engine has a rebuild stamp on it. The truck has the Air Conditioning components but the fan doesn't come on, could be as much as a fuse, haven't looked into.
The engine is the smoothest running straight 6 engine ive ever come across, so I have no doubt the motor has been rebuilt, but again, I cannot verify this, but it runs extremely smooth and balanced. The gears engage and shift as they should and don't bind up like chevy 3 on the trees usually do (at least hasn't happened to me yet). The truck runs nice and cool, (currently 100 degrees here), did not over heat, or even act like it wanted to while sitting and idling for quite some time while at drive through carwash yesterday afternoon.
The body has some rust areas but nothing too bad, the floors appear to be solid and there isn't any rust that ive see on the under carriage.
The wipers, headlights, blinkers, heater, AM Radio all work, all gauges and dummy lights work.
This truck is an awesome daily driver, would make a great ranch truck, restore, or even shop truck. It runs and drives great.
Kansas Title in Hand, I have transfer paperwork from Kansas (this is where the winner of the auction was from)

Paypal accepted for deposit only, full payment in person, cashiers check or bank wire, if buyer insists on paying through paypal buyer is responsible for paypal fees. I can end auction at anytime.

Ford readying dozen+ Mustang models for SEMA

Wed, 22 Oct 2014

Ford is unsurprisingly bringing a herd of its new 2015 Mustang models to next month's SEMA show in Las Vegas. Over a dozen of them are arriving from top aftermarket outfits like Galpin Auto Sports, Steeda, Roush and others. The Blue Oval isn't just shining a spotlight on the V8 model, though. The new EcoBoost 2.3-liter version with 310 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque is also getting its time in the sun.
Among the shined-up ponies will be a showcar helping Galpin celebrate the Mustang's golden anniversary, with the car is covered in the precious metal. The black paint over the body has gold flecks in it, and the wheels, side sills, brake calipers and badges all match, as well. However, it takes more than something shiny to truly impress at SEMA, and Galpin's Mustang also packs a Whipple supercharger for the 5.0-liter V8, boosting the bottom line to 725 horsepower. Take that, Hellcat. There's even a window in the hood to look through, not unlike a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. The coupe also wears new headlights with LED turn signals that activate in sequence, just like the taillights, and the interior features black-and-gold Recaro seats.
Also set for its SEMA debut is an MRT showcar that takes the EcoBoost Mustang for a gallop with its TKO treatment. The black and orange two-tone car has been designed to incorporate select road racing elements. Mechanical upgrades include 14-inch brake rotors with new ducts, a Vortech air-to-air intercooler and an Air Lift suspension. The Mustang also shows off the company's products for added style and performance including a hood with integrated heat extractors and a unique front splitter.

Ford and Chrysler reducing summer plant shutdowns

Wed, 22 May 2013

Most domestic automaker assembly plants traditionally take a couple of weeks off during the summer. The shutdowns give each plant time for much needed repairs and maintenance, and in some cases, help better align production with demand. Not this year, though, as demand for many models is outstripping what Ford, Chrysler and General Motors plants can produce.
Ford has announced that it will shorten its annual summer shutdown for most North American plants from two weeks to one. The shorter shutdown will increase the carmaker's annual North American production by 40,000 units on top of the 200,000 extra units that it was already planning to produce this year versus last. Automotive News reports that Ford produced 2.8 million vehicles on this continent in 2012, and that output this year has already increased 13 percent through April.
Chrysler, meanwhile, is also operating at full tilt and plans to run some plants through the summer with no shutdown at all. Those not getting a break include Jefferson North where the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango are assembled, Toledo North that will assemble the new Cherokee, and Conner Avenue, home of SRT Viper production. Other assembly plants will be down for a single week, while all of Chrysler's engine and transmission plants except one in Indiana will continue operating with no shutdown this summer.

Ford Focus RS ready to make our hot hatch dreams real

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

Ford's current hot hatch siblings the Fiesta ST and Focus ST are already two pretty great entries into the segment, but there's always a desire for a little more. Thankfully, it looks like the Blue Oval is ready to satiate that need because it's continuing to test the even more powerful Focus RS around Europe. According to our spy shooters, these shots come from near the Nürburgring.
As with previous photos, Ford engineers continue to heavily camouflage the front end of the RS prototypes, but there's a big difference here. Unlike earlier ones, this example appears to have a closer-to-production-ready front bumper rather than just a horizontal strip for the license plate. That may point to development getting somewhat closer to wrapping up. Although, this one lacks the larger rear wing from prior testers, and the exhaust also appears to be a work in progress with the rear diffuser covered in mesh in these latest shots.
The RS is rumored to be using the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the 2015 Mustang, but power is reportedly turned up from 310 horsepower in the 'Stang to somewhere between 325 hp and 350 hp for the Focus. Routing all that just through the front wheels could be a recipe for serious torque steer, and all-wheel drive is potentially being used for better traction.
