For sale is this 1990 F 700 crew cab four-wheel-drive truck. This is a low mileage truck with only 41,203 original miles however the truck is showing some signs of its age.  Currently the engine is not running due to a blown head gasket.  Prior to the engine issue it drove fairly well.  Overall this truck in good condition with minor surface rust and a couple of dings. This truck has huge potential, repower it with a diesel and pull your camper, race car trailer, horse trailer or better yet an off-road wrecker.  The transmission has a SAE 2 bell housing making it easy to install most diesels. The interior is well optioned for its era, which included power windows on all doors and nice air-ride bucket seats. The carpet needs to be cleaned and headliner has some damage and should be replaced. The fiberglass hood and grill are in good shape. The truck has a front hitch receiver and a front winch but unfortunately the winch motor is burned up though a replacement motor can be bought. I realize this truck has its flaws but there are many good points and there is a lot of life left in this rig.  That being said the reserve is set accordingly at what I believe to be reasonable. The 2015 Ford Mustang is not so mellow in yellow

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

When we first saw the 2015 Ford Mustang, much was made of its new, more expressive color palette, which includes the return of both yellow and orange in addition to a new grayish shade, Guard. At that time, we didn't have anything to look at but a few small scale models painted in the new colors - the only Mustangs on display were in Race Red.
For its auto show debut here at in the Motor City, Ford has trotted out a couple of as-yet-unseen shades, including the striking Triple Yellow shown above. The new shade marks a return to a paint color that enthusiasts have been clamoring for, and we must say, it looks excellent under the lights of Cobo Hall.
Stat wise, there are still a number of questions we have about the redesigned Mustang. None of the three engines have had official power figures published. The same goes for pricing information, although if any loose-lipped execs let something slip in Detroit, we'll be sure to let you know. Until then, have a look at the new Triple Yellow Mustang on display at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Ford considering return to Le Mans with new EcoBoost LMP2

Mon, 21 Jul 2014

If you want to see a Ford racing prototype, you need look no further than the United SportsCar Championship, where the Blue Oval fields two Daytona Prototypes powered by an EcoBoost-branded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. But according to the latest rumors, that may not be enough for Ford, which has as much brand to promote overseas as it does back home.
That could be why Racer magazine is reporting that Ford may be poised to return to Le Mans in the coming years. As we all know, Ford competed at Le Mans in the mid-through-late '60s, bringing home four consecutive overall wins with the legendary GT40. The new program would not, according to Racer, seek to relive those glory days, but would instead compete for class wins in the LMP2 category.
Currently, LMP2 regulations are somewhat split between the United SportsCar Championship in North America on the one hand and ACO-sanctioned series like the European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship on the other, but plans are underway for the regulations to be unified in time for the 2017 season. That could be when Ford is targeting its return, allowing it to compete on both sides of the Atlantic to maximize its exposure.
