Lamborghini : Diablo 6.0 Se on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
The only 6.0 SE currently for sale anywhere in the world. The last time any 6.0 SE was advertised was the final car that sold @ Barrett Jackson auctions January 2012, so you know how far and few between these cars are let alone change hands. The Barrett Jackson car was Canadian spec and not for sale or to be driven in the USA. My car is a USA spec, it is # 34 & probably one of no more than 10 in the USA. Painted in Maroone Eclipse, a highly sought after color in modern Lamborghini's and offered here as one of only 20 in the entire world. Pictures car never do the car justice, this is my 4th 6.0 i've owned and the most beautiful of them all. Vehicle has just completed a major overhaul and full service, all books and both tool kits included. Factory car cover in the bag (Yellow), as well as the custom 3 piece luggage set that sits in the trunk. These are all unique and one offs. I'm pretty sure i have everything with the car just as it was when it left the factory. List of components replaced:
Drive train.
Interior.
Last notation and VERY important, if you are the winning bidder, YOU MUST have this car PPI'd. I want the buyer to be 100% happy with the purchase, you're spending a LOT of money on this classic car, make sure you get what you expect. DO NOT buy the car and wire funds sight unseen, if you do purchase and decide not to view the car, the money will be refunded and transaction cancelled. In other words, part of the transaction record REQUIRES that the high and winning bidder pay for a PPI at the dealer of choice, if no PPI is requested 96 hours after winning bid, deposit will be RETAINED (Due to you not following guidelines, i will keep this deposit) and car will be re-listed. I'm happy to give any test drives, pick you up at TPA and take you and the car directly to the service shop of your choice. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. I believe based on very accurate records, that the Maroon Eclipse 6.0 SE is one of only 5 in the entire USA & i feel this is the most perfect and pristine example. Aussie Ford Falcon GT shows its rear end to Lamborghini Gallardo
Sun, 27 Apr 2014When Ford Australia announces, as it did recently, that it wants to celebrate the end of its Ford Performance Vehicle division with a Falcon FPV GT-F that celebrates big-bore origins of the nameplate, it's talking about the kind of car in this video.
At some point the classic Falcon GT - said to be an XY series - was invited to a test of acceleration against a Lamborghini Gallardo. At the very least, the Falcon GT had a 351 cubic-inch motor and 300 horsepower, but whatever this guy's got under the hood of his yellow sedan makes has him so confident that he doesn't even move his elbow from its resting place on the door.
You'll find a reminder of Ford Australia's heyday, a raucous exhaust note and some NSFW language in the short video below.
Range-topping 800-hp Lamborghini Aventador SV hits the 'Ring
Fri, 19 Apr 2013A couple of years ago, rumors were circulating about a possible high(er)-performance version of the Lamborghini Aventador, and our spy photographers have just captured what appears to be a prototype of this new supercar testing at the Nürburgring. Supposedly called the Aventador SV (for Super Veloce), this even-more-hardcore version of Lamborghini's range-topper could boast as much as 800 horsepower. Yowza.
As for the car you see here, our spies point out new center-lock wheels wrapped in ultra-thin high-performance tires that hide revised brake calipers mounted in a different position than on the normal Aventador. Up front, there's a new aerodynamic piece that makes for an even lower air splitter, and around back, an extra piece of trim (often referred to as a Gurney flap) has been added to the spoiler to provide enhanced downforce.
We don't imagine there's much in the way of weight to shed from the Aventador's carbon fiber monocoque chassis, so this SV version will likely focus more on better suspension tuning, improved aero and a 80-100 more horsepower to set it apart from the rest of the range. Expect more details to arrive around the time of the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall.
2015 Lamborghini Hurac?n LP 610-4 greets the public
Tue, 04 Mar 2014If you're into cars and are familiar with this little thing called the Internet, you've no doubt seen the new Lamborghini Huracán by now. And while it might seem redundant to talk about the hot new Lambo again, the stunning coupe finally, officially makes its public debut here at the Geneva Motor Show. In other words, it's an excuse for us to bring you yet another set of photos, ripe for the droolin'.
Senior Editor Seyth Miersma already divulged the important factoids in our recent Deep Dive, but let's quickly recap. The bull's beating heart is a new, naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10, good for 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. In other words, she'll be super quick, with Lamborghini estimating a 0-62 time of just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of over 202 miles per hour. All that force gets sent to the ground via all-wheel drive, all packaged up in a coupe that is, well, freakin' gorgeous.
The Huracán goes on sale this summer, and Lamborghini expects it to easily eclipse the outgoing Gallardo in terms of sales. We can't wait to drive the thing, but until then, another batch of photos will have to do. Check 'em out in our gallery above.
