THE DIABLO ROADSTER MARKET IS GETTING READY TO TAKE OFF. PRICES HAVE RECENTLY BEEN ON THE RISE BASED ON RECENT MAJOR AUCTION RESULTS. THE DIABLO ROADSTER IS ONE OF THE MOST RARE SUPER CARS IN EXISTENCE AS THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 450 DIABLO ROADSTERS EVER PRODUCED IN THE WORLD. OUT OF THOSE PRODUCED A VERY LIMITED NUMBER WERE SHIPPED TO THE STATES. THEY WERE PRODUCED IN 1997, 1997/1/2, 1998 AND 1999. THE 1997 1/2 WAS UPGRADED TO INCLUDE A PASSENGER AIR BAG. Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse brings one-make series to the road
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Lamborghini announced a new Gallardo model today, the all-wheel-drive LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, and it's almost identical to the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo single-series race car. Its world premiere will be held at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The street-legal Squadra Corse shares key components with the Super Trofeo - both of which are based on the Gallardo Superleggera - including the 570-horsepower V10, carbon fiber rear wing and removable engine hood made in the same material. The rear wing produces up to three times more downforce than what's found on the LP 560-4. Through the generous use of weight-saving materials and components, the Squadra Corse weighs in at 2,954 pounds, which is 154 pounds lighter than the LP 560-4. To stop all of that mass, standard production carbon-ceramic brakes are used.
Carbon fiber bucket seats with Alcantara center inserts replace the regular seats, though buyers can option them back in. Alcantara also covers the underside of the dashboard. The door panels, center console cover, handbrake frame and lower section of the steering wheel are all made in carbon fiber.

So the best way to show off the range of the VW family is to cram a few thousand journalists and VIPs into a massive makeshift stand to outline the Group's goals, what's in the pipeline and what you'll be able to buy later this year.
To that end, VW pulled out all the stops on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, bringing along 10 vehicles from across the range. Jay Leno's Garage gets agrarian with Lamborghini tractor
Mon, 24 Dec 2012Stepping away from the trendy and arcane, the next guest in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1968-69 Lamborghini R485 tractor. In case there's anyone who doesn't know, the same Ferruccio Lamborghini ultimately responsible for giving us the Aventador started off making tractors in his native Italy after World War II.
The specs are a long way from anything we'd expect from the company's road-going products. The vineyard and orchard tractor has a 5.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 85 horsepower and 350 foot-pounds of torque, a two-foot clutch and 12 forward gears that get it from 0.3 miles per hour to 14 mph. It's also got a starter motor from a Countach.
