2004 Ford F-150 Heritage XL Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4.2L
with A.R.E. contractors cap. Truck is being sold As-is, no warranty. Exterior: This truck was used for construction work, so it has the usual scratches and dings you would expect. Rear bumper is pushed in on the RH side (see pic). Bed has rusted area above wheel wells and at lower front on passenger side (also shown in pics). Cab and doors are still in very good condition, all the glass is good. All the doors work on the contractors cap. the rear cap glass needs new struts to hold it in the open position. Interior: Is in overall good condition. Driver seat has tear (see pics). Center console lid is broken. Passenger and rear seats are in good condition, with NO tears. Mechanical: Engine and transmission work as they should. Front brakes have just been replaced. Air conditioning works well as do the power windows and locks. The pinion seal on the rear axle is leaking and also there is some noise coming from the pinion bearings when you accelerate. The local Ford dealership recommended replace seal and pinion bearings, I can have these items replaced for a very reasonable price after the auction if the winning bidder wants. However the trucks goes down the road just fine the way it is. Tires have approx 50% tread remaining. Payment:--------$500 Paypal payment required within 48 hours of auction close. Lexus RC F is a predatory sport coupe with a 450-horsepower beating heart
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Take a look at that face. We can't be the only ones who see an automotive Predator staring back, right? Certainly, the Lexus RC F Coupe boasts a visually striking design that some are going to love and others are going to hate, but we can at least appreciate that it's aggressive, especially compared to the standard RC Coupe that we saw at the Tokyo Motor Show. And with good reason - there's a 5.0-liter V8 engine sitting under that massively domed hood with "more than 450 horsepower," along with a newly calibrated eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Interestingly, Lexus has tuned the RC F's engine to run on an Atkinson cycle under most circumstances, while it switches to the more typical Otto cycle when more power is required, presumably using some sort of advanced variable valve timing technology. Helping put that power to the ground with all those ponies wreaking havoc underhood is a torque vectoring differential, a first from Lexus.
Also involved in keeping the RC F planted is an aero package that includes wings and ducts galore. The headline bit is an active rear wing that deploys at 50 miles per hour and retracts back into the deck when the car drops back to 25 mph. A clear-coated carbon fiber roof can optionally join that carbon rear wing. There are apparently going to be three 19-inch wheel options, including the ones you see in our live image gallery above.
Lexus coupe caught in spy shots actually RC, headed for Tokyo reveal?
Tue, 16 Jul 2013Lexus may have pulled a fast one on us. The car our spy shooters spotted yesterday may not, in fact, be an IS F Coupe as we indicated. Rather, the car shown above may be a new model, dubbed RC, that will arrive at this year's Tokyo Motor Show.
Following a report from Automotive News, the RC is believed to be a pure coupe, rather than a hardtop convertible. This gels with information provided on the IS sedan's launch, when Lexus spokespeople said the IS Convertible would remain on the current platform. With styling based on the LF-CC from the 2012 Paris show, the new car will share a rear-drive platform with the IS and GS sedans.
Power is expected to come from a 3.5-liter V6 that turns out 306 horsepower. That car will likely wear the RC 350 badge. A hybrid model is expected to follow, but in a twist, it won't be coming to the US. The big news, though, is that the RC will spawn an RC F.

No one was comparing the IS to the BMW 3 Series, and for Lexus that was a problem.
At the beginning of 2011, we rocked up to the parking lot at Southern California's Santa Anita Raceway to test the 2012 Lexus GS. This was the first sedan in the luxury brand's lineup to reset its intentions on the balance of sport and luxury. The previous GS had blanched into mute tepidity, and the new generation we drove on an autocross course and on a canyon road corrected just about everything; we liked its looks, and the Variable Gear Ratio Steering- and Adaptive Variable Suspension-equipped car moved its abilities into the realm of a true sports sedan, and it was great to drive. They absolutely nailed it.
