I'm selling my 2007 Pontiac Vibe with 124000 miles on it. This is a one owner car with a clean history - 0 accidents. The car rides great and gets excellent MPG. The 5 speed manual transmission complements the 1.8 engine hence it accelerates surprisingly well even on uphills. The car is equipped with full power options including cruise control (which is rare on manual transmissions). This is one of the most economical cars with such a large amount of room. The rear seats fold down and it has just about as much room as a mid size SUV. The car is very reliable as it was manufactured using solely Toyota pars - actually it is a mirror image of the Toyota Matrix and many parts are interchangeable with the Corolla. The tires are new, it has a timing chain so you never have to worry about changing it, no leaks of any kind in the engine bay, no noises or rattles, no scratches. Very well maintained and I can't think of anything wrong with this vehicle. This would cost over $7000 at any dealer so this is your chance to get an excellent vehicle at the fraction of the price.

THIS CAR IS SUPER CLEAN!!
THE ENGINE HAS NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER!
IT TRULY RIDES LIKE NEW!

Please contact me by phone or text if you have any further questions. I welcome the interested buyer to come and take it for a test drive, and I guarantee you will fall in love with this car.

Here is a little history about the Vibe:

Manufactured by the Toyota-GM joint venture NUMMI in Fremont, California, the Vibe succeeded the Geo Prizm in production at NUMMI, and like the Prizm, the Vibe was derived from the Toyota Corolla. The Pontiac Vibe was a compact hatchback automobile sold under the Pontiac marque from 2002 to 2010. It was jointly developed by General Motors along with Toyota, who manufactures the mechanically identical Toyota Matrix.

GM recalling 778,000 Cobalts and G5s, six deaths reported

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

General Motors has announced that it will be recalling 778,562 compact cars after six people were killed in accidents, partially due to the airbags' failure to deploy. An issue with the ignition switch is causing the airbag issues, as well as causing the engine and other components to shut off without warning. The recall covers the 2005 to 2007 model year Chevrolet Cobalt and 2007 Pontiac G5. (Note that the Cobalt pictured above is a 2009 model.)
According to a report from Automotive News, a number of factors can cause the ignition to switch out of the run position, including weights on the key ring, rough or bumpy roads or other "jarring" events. Any of these situations could lead to some vehicle components not functioning properly.
There have been five fatal front-impact crashes that took the lives of six people, although as a GM spokesman noted, all five of the crashes happened off road and at high speed. In each of these cases, though, the lack of airbags wasn't the only lethal factor - alcohol and failure to wear a seat belt also played a role. Outside of the fatal accidents, there have been 17 other crashes where airbags didn't deploy. It's unclear if any of these crashes were caused by the engine shutting off.

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.

GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

When it rains, it pours. General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac. Normally, we'd give you the full rundown in paragraph form, but the variety of models and model years means a list is just easier. So, have a look, directly from GM's press release:
