If youre looking at this listing, you already know what type of car you are getting. For those of you who have stumbled upon it, Ill explain. This is a 2010 Porsche Cayman S. It is a 987.2 and came with the 3.4L DFI motor that was only in the 2009-2012 Caymans, the previous 987.1 caymans had engine failures due to poor design. This particular cayman is of the most desirable because of the color combo and options. This car has been garage kept its entire life. There is not a scratch or dent anywhere on it. The car has never seen salt, rain or snow. It is literally showroom new. I would prefer to sell it to someone who will keep it that way and not track it (even though it was made for the track). The reason I am selling is that I have 2 children now and I rarely find one day a month that I can actually take the car out to a show or meet. I have a ton of tasteful modifications into the car that make it one of the best caymans around. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, feel free to contact me. Im a PCA member and enthusiast. Paul Walker's accident due to 'speed, and speed alone'

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

Following an investigation into the crash that killed Fast and Furious star Paul Walker and driver Roger Rodas, an unnamed law enforcement source told the Associated Press that there were no signs of mechanical failure on the Porsche Carrera GT that was destroyed in the accident.
The report from The Huffington Post claims the officer in question blamed "speed, and speed alone" in the fatal accident. The same report ruled out the presence of debris in the road, which may have caused Rodas to lose control of the V10-powered super car.
Engineers from Porsche are traveling to California to investigate the accident with the help of the Carrera GT's on-board data recorder. Until then, investigators won't speculate on the car's speed at the time of the wreck.

Porsche reveals first Macan driving and manufacturing footage

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

One of the more anticipated offerings of the upcoming year, Porsche's sporty baby Cayenne, the 2015 Macan, has already earned nods of approval from a number of Autoblog staffers. We named it one of the top five debuts at last month's LA Auto Show, citing its 400-horsepower turbocharged engine and other sporty bits as good reasons to get excited about Stuttgart's latest.
And while our first test may be many months away, we're keeping our ears to the ground for any information on Porsche's compact crossover. We're especially keen on stuff like this - our first look at the new model in motion and undergoing assembly at its Leipzig plant. Both are shorter videos, and while there's little of the glorious engine noise we've already been teased with, the videos do offer a great look at the handsome Macan on the road, as well as glimpse at Porsche's state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
Scope out the videos below and let us know what you think.

Watch the Chevy Corvette dismiss its Euro rivals at the hands of a Brit magazine

Sat, 08 Feb 2014

European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."
Scroll down to see how it all plays out on video.
