I bought a car there; a 1999 Dodge Neon. It had 50,000 miles and it looked good. I asked Steve`s wife if anything was wrong with the car. "Not a thing." So I bought it. I drove it off the lot. I figured they would be okay people because Steve and I laughed and joked about Kentucky drivers and their limited knowledge on knowing the proper way to drive while waiting for the insurance company to insure thi... view mores beauty of a car. "Ya got yourself a good little car there... I drove it around yesterday and it handles really well." -- Steve told me. I drove the car off the lot, and went to run errands. TWO hours later it`s in Pepboys with major issues wrong with it. TWO hours later. When I called Steve to tell him about this he said, "Kentucky law is after you purchase a vehicle AS IS if it breaks down thirty seconds after you sign on the dotted line, it`s your problem." He said he would get back to me with the repair on what they did to fix it, and that was two days ago. DO NOT GO to this place if you want a car that will actually run. I bought the car on Thursday and it`s now Sunday and I`m still without the $3,700 lemon I bought from Steve Caldwell Automotive. Oh but that cost is going to raise once Pepboys gets finished with it. This is a ripoff artist. Seriously...
