I`ll take my car there from here on out
I was having issues with the brakes on my car, so I took it to brake check. The manager (Steve) explained the 3 step inspection to me, but I told him to just call me once after everything was inspected. Within an hour I received a call from Steve and he informed of all the needed and recomended repairs. I called around and found that Brake Checks prices were the least costly. that was 6 months ago and everything is s... view moretill working great. I was impressed with Steve and his teams professionalism.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
DO NOT GO TO BRAKE CHECK. They will rip you off. I took my late model truck to brake check. After I left it there, they called 3 times telling me that I needed more and more brake components replaced (brakes, rotors, etc, etc.). I quickly went from $59 pad replacement to over $450. I got everything replaced. 5k miles later my brakes are squeeking again. I take it back, and they charge another $180 more dollars to rep... view morelace the pads that they replaced 5k miles before. AVOID BRAKE CHECK LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Bait and Switch with me too.
After they quoted me a price of $715 to replace a fuel pump, they later said the computer needed to be replaced too for an additional $800. Why wasn`t I told about this computer repair until I had committed? I did some checking at another repair shop, just for comparison, and they quoted me $398 to replace a fuel pump. The car was running fine the day before it wouldn`t start. No electrical problems, what so ever... view more. I think the pump was bad but I don`t trust them with the story that the computer is also bad. i`m checking at a dealer`s shop and will probably tow the car to them for a second opinion. Of course who knows what Brake Check did.

Typical
My experience with this branch of Brake check has been awful. From the bait-and-switch tactics of increasing the estimate several times once they get the car ""under the knife"", to installing shoddy parts that vibrate immediately and get worse over time, to the ""lifetime warranty"" over those shoddy parts that keeps me coming back year after year to pay labor and other misc charges, this place was like going to Mi... view moredas. I do not trust them at all, and have little confidence in my brakes.
At the start, I brought my car in due to brake grinding because my left front rotor was torn up (perhaps by a stone caught in the brakes). Instead of focusing on that rotor, they quoted me new brake pads and told me they probably could resurface the damaged rotor. Later, once the car was taken apart, they changed it to new rotors and pads. Once I saw the rotor they claimed they could resurface, it was obvious they had lied: the rotor was completely shredded.
The brakes vibrated the entire car immediately after installation. I went back five or six times over three years to give them a chance to make good on their advertised promises, all to no avail. One time, a mechanic even admitted that they don`t check new rotors for trueness as a policy because ""only"" 30% of their new rotors are not true, and the central office made a business decision to not even check new rotors so that customers can come back soon and pay for resurfacing.
I had no problems with my brakes for the first five years I owned my Camry, and nothing but problems and vibration since I went to Brake Check. I even paid for ""premium"" parts and told them I wanted to pay for the best so I didn`t have the problems I subsequently experienced. Each time, they either did not fix the problems or made temporary fixes that ensured I would need to come back. I eventually just had all parts replaced by someone else with the instructions: ""Please undo the damage Brake Check has done to my car."" Very dissatisfied.
