Hey there corvette buyer here is the one for you!! I am a car dealer in south texas and i get some special cars but this is one of my all time best ! I bought this car from a local businessman and he has great cars . This car is can am white with bright blue leather , the whole car is in top condition period. The paint is flawless , the interior is excellent, the soft top and frame are excellent , the motor compartment is beautiful, the undercarriage is as clean as a 1969 corvette driver can be !There has been a ton of time and money spent keeping this 44 year old corvette in mint condition. the car was originally a 350 horse 350 but it now has a newer 87 ,88 corvette motor in it . I know that the car would be worth more with the original motor but it is gone , however the installation and quality of the new installation speaks for itself . the car is sweet , it runs , steers, stops, shifts, looks , feels , sounds, performs like a new one , the headlights and wiper door open right up!!! most of the fiber optics work !!! the car is a dream vette . this car could bring over 35000 dollars with the original engine but what is it worth now ? it might be better than it was new . asking 27500 but i intend to sell it so let your wallet be your guide please call me with any questions or email me if you like . read my feedback and buy with confidence. Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.
Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered.
