1949 Chrysler Ratrod Hemi Coupe on 2040-cars
New Boston, Michigan, United States
This is a 1949 Chrysler that has been chopped and channeled professionally by ScarryFnLarrys.com, to look like the Chrysler's version of the famous ZZ Top's Lincoln Zypher. The 1949 Chrysler is sitting on top of a 1953 Chrysler Imperial with a 331 Hemi. There is 47,000 original miles on both cars. It has been re-gasketed, brakes, exhaust and tuned before the the start of this project. We have clear titles from both cars. Call Larry (734) 624-6869
The hole in the floor in the pictures is the access panel for the Master Cylinder. There is a cover that is attached with a screw to secure it. The cover is in the truck along with all the extra parts which there are quite a few more. Good radiator, chrome trim, steering and suspension, gas tank, firewall and dash from the 53. There are also scrap pieces of metal from this project. My plans were to add a simulated convertible top, power windows front roll pan, fancy tail lights and a Continental kit of some sort. This all can be done by me for a fee. Happy Bidding! Scarry Larry |

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles targets mid-October IPO
Thu, 04 Sep 2014The merged Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is targeting October 13 to launch its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, CEO Sergio Marchionne told reporters assembled for a meeting in Rimini, Italy.
"The most likely date for the listing in the US is October 13," Marchionne said, according to Reuters.
Marchionne is trusting that the money made in the IPO will be contribute heavily his ambitious, $64-billion five-year growth plan, which will see FCA reboot Alfa Romeo and Maserati and expand Jeep's global presence. Should the IPO fall short, though, Marchionne has confirmed that "all decision [sic] on any capital increase will be taken by the board of FCA at the end of October."
Fiat board makes Chrysler merger official, approves $5.4B bond sale
Mon, 16 Jun 2014Fiat's board of directors has officially approved the merger plan that will see the conglomerate's automotive operations merged with Chrysler into the new Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
The plan essentially provides a road map for the structure of the new company. It includes provisions for Fiat shareholders - one Fiat share will translate to one share of FCA common stock. The new company will also include a loyalty voting structure, which will provide for shareholders of Fiat stock or those that have held FCA stock for at least three years. According to the plan, these shareholders would see their voting power double, with two votes for every share of FCA's common stock. The overall merger plan still needs to be approved by the company's shareholders.
In other Fiat-related news, the company's board has announced a bond issuance of four billion euro ($5.4 billion). The new bonds should provide the company with a degree of flexibility in refinancing debts associated with the merger plan.
Chrysler 100 hatchback caught cruising around Santa Monica
Thu, 21 Feb 2013A coming hatchback said to be called the Chrysler 100 has been caught on video traipsing around Santa Monica by Autoblog reader Zach Dillman. Still wearing the scrapyard assemblage of Alfa Romeo Giulietta body panels as it was when spy photographers began capturing it last summer, its arrival date is still a question mark: some outlets have reported that it will go on sale this year, others have said it won't be in showrooms until 2016.
In fact, quite a few questions remain. Based on Fiat's Compact US Wide (CUSW) platform that supports the Dodge Dart and expected to be about the same size, the 100 is thought to be a small premium hatchback that will be priced above the Dart and below the Chrysler 200, with the idea that it can challenge the Ford Focus and Hyunda Elantra at the value end and the Buick Verano and Acura ILX at the premium end. Word is that there will be no sedan version.
It looks like there'll be plenty of gewgaws inside, with buttons for Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and a button to toggle the traction control.
