Up for sale is my 1995 Ferrari V 12 456 gt. I have owned the car for 1.5 years. At purchase i had over $20,000 in work done including major service, belts etc. new clutch, rebuilt rear shocks, spark plug wires, new clutch seals the list goes on - I also had the intake powder coated while it was off during the service and it engine bay looks amazing - I have books and records back to the original owner. This is a great car and if you are interested in Ferraris this is one of the best ways to get into the V 12 club. Car also has a tubi exhaust on it - look up on U tube and you can hear the sound. I will be glad to answer any questions that I can. Only thing that I am aware of with the car is the AC is not blowing cold - worked fine last fall but couple of weeks when I turned it on it is not cold. There are several places in St Louis that can do PPIs and I will be glad to assist in those if you are a qualified buyer. The best way to describe this car is a very nice and very clean car but not perfect. I drive it only occasionally putting less than 2,000 miles on it since I purchased it. I just have run out of garage space vs cars.

Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider tops Gooding's Saturday auction at $15.18 million
Mon, 18 Aug 2014During the weekend's automotive smorgasbord in Pebble Beach, Ferrari has played a huge roll. Twenty examples of the ultra-rare 250 TR, better known as the Testa Rossa, were prominently on display at the Concours d'Elegance, and the Prancing Horses have been top sellers at many of the auctions. You can chalk up one more on that list with a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider with a scarce, optional hardtop included going for $15.18 million at Gooding & Company's sale on Saturday night. Ferris Bueller would find it so choice.
In all, the auction house brought in about $60.4 million during the night, and 17 of the cars on the block sold for over $1 million. None of the other cars on Saturday managed quite the stratospheric highs of the California, though. A 1955 Aston Martin DB3S was the second-highest seller at $5.5 million. The next four top vehicles were all Ferraris with final prices ranging between $2.09 million and $2.365 million. Clearly, investors are in love with the Prancing Horse these days.

Ferrari 458 Speciale speeds toward Frankfurt
Tue, 20 Aug 2013When the doors open at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a few weeks, there'll be loads of new cars and new versions of existing ones. And as far as the latter category goes at least, this will undoubtedly be what show-goers will look forward to most.
What we have here is the Ferrari 458 Speciale - the successor to the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia, and the hard-core version of the 458 Italia. It was expected to carry the name Monte Carlo, but then Ferrari has never been fond of letting the press dictate what it would call its cars. But forget the nameplate: what really matters is what it's got to offer.
For starters, the award-winning, high-revving 4.5-liter V8 has been retuned to deliver 605 cv (596 hp by our standards), up from 562 hp in the standard 458, while torque remains the same at 398 lb-ft. But the other side of the power-to-weight ratio (quoted at 2.13 kg/cv) is the extra mass Ferrari has cut out of the equation: the 458 Speciale's dry weight is quoted at 1,290 kg (2,844 lbs), representing a significant drop from the 458 Italia's 1,485 kg (3,274 lb) curb weight.

Thu, 14 Aug 2014We've got to say: we're really enjoying the MotorWeek incarnation of this Throwback Thursday trend that seems to be enveloping everyone's social media feeds. MW has an almost impossibly deep library of historical tape to draw from, meaning each recent Thursday has met with another gem dropped on YouTube.
The last old-timer that drew our interest (and yours, based on all the comments) was a sports car showdown of epic, 1990s proportions. Today though, we've got one of the most legendary supercars of all time, the Ferrari F40, presented with the wholesome goodness that is John Davis' signature style. Any classic road test of the the F40 would probably earn our clicks, but this particular video comes with some added drama around the 5:10 mark.
Don't rush there, it's fun to listen to the period-correct praise along the way, but prepare yourself for a near-miss that's almost as breathtaking as the Ferrari itself.
