Thank you for viewing and welcome to this private sale for
this stunning 2000 Ferrari 456MGT.
This is one of less than 700 456 M's (Modificata or Modified)
produced with the 6 speed manual transmission. Modificata models began production in 1998 and
included a new stylish front end, interior and more importantly a performance enhancement
to the already very powerful V12, for a total of 442HP. In its time this was the fastest four passenger
production car on the road and with a price tag of nearly $250K, it was the
ultimate in luxury sport cars too.
This particular 2 owner 456 (same owner for last 8 years) has been meticulously maintained. Having
been garaged kept the original paint still shines beautifully. In addition, it also has all the services up to date including the 15K and 30K
mile service. Most services were completed
at Ferrari of Sarasota, FL (receipts included in sale). Recently the driver window regulator was also
replaced. Both windows go up and down
perfectly. In fact, All electrical components are in working order, including power seats, mirrors, radio, dash lights, exterior lights, A/C etc... Car fax report is CLEAN, NO accidents, floods, stolen recovery or millage discrepancy (report available upon request).
Also included in the sale are all the factory books and
manuals with the original leather Ferrari case, all the original tools (also in
leather Ferrari case), tire inflator canister and lastly the 2 factory keys and
3 fobs.
As illustrated in the photos, the exterior of the car is in
excellent condition with no major,
dents, dings or scratches. The all original and entirely stitched and fully wrapped
cream colored leather interior is also in excellent condition, with no major
cuts, stains or scratches. The black
piping on the upholstery is not only a factory option, but gives it a
beautiful and elegant contrast. The dash does have a slight imperfection over glove box, typical wear and tear from heat (see photos).
All four wheels are in great shape with absolutely no wheel
scuffs. All four wheels are wrapped in Pirelli
P Zero tires (the way it comes from the factory) with approximately 75% tread left.
These 456's have already hit their rock bottom price and
will soon be classics. Enzo Ferrari intended for all Ferrari's to be classics and this is no exception. Especially on a front end V12! Don't miss
out on the opportunity to own a V12 Ferrari before they become untouchable! Being a 6 speed manual favors its collectable value as they
were rare (less than 700 cars) and the fact Ferrari does not produce manual
cars anymore as of approximately 2009.
Free shipping is included only at the 'Buy It Now' price for
anywhere in the Contiguous United States in a open carrier transporter (excludes anything outside the U.S. , Hawaii and
Alaska)

We're heavy on the speculative side with this, but Auto Express is saying that "Rumours of Ferrari 458 Scuderia emerge, with possible debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show." To be clear, that's the possible debut of a car that is still only a rumor, and we're not sure it will be called "Scuderia," either - remember, the track-day 360 was the Challenge Stradale. Admittedly, the rumor of its existence is strong and there is plenty of precedent: Ferrari has introduced some model or variant of its mid-engined V8 sports car at the last three Frankfurt Motor Shows.
Car and Driver went into a great deal of indepth speculation about the coming, track-focused 458 in a piece back in May, and also predicted it would be shown first in Frankfurt. According to C/D we can expect "roughly 600" horsepower and 9,300-rpm redline - up 300 rpm from standard - a faster shifting seven-speed gearbox, a dry weight under 2,900 pounds thanks to "exotic compound materials" and a "slightly stripped interior," less exhaust silencing, uprated carbon-ceramic brakes and active aerodynamics on the rear diffuser.
As far as rumors go this one sounds thoroughly lovely. We hope to see it in made metal in Frankfurt in two months, you can enjoy a detailed gallery of the 563-horsepower Ferrari 458 Challenge above for now.

I wasted my last hour with the 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale pacing the polished concrete floor of Home Depot. My quest was to find an industrial-strength adhesive that would permanently bond me to the bright-red Italian's carbon-fiber racing seat. At that moment, I was determined to spend the rest of my life with this Ferrari - glued behind its F1-inspired steering wheel - selfishly dismissing trivial matters like eating, bathing and all future interaction with my wife and kids.
After reviewing literally hundreds of exceptional vehicles, many considered the finest enthusiast offerings each automaker has to offer, I had finally found my mechanical soulmate - the limited-production 458 Speciale. I somehow became convinced that cementing myself within its spartan cabin would ensure that our love affair would never end. My plan was ingenious, assuming the hardware store still had a large bottle of Gorilla Glue on the shelf.
Simply put, there is no better way to start a weekend than with a gassed-up Rosso Corsa Ferrari 458 Speciale parked in your driveway and instructions to "Enjoy!"
