This is a gorgeous red Ferrari Testarossa with tan interior! All eyes will be on you. You will be the envy of the road!

So why sell this gorgeous exotic car?

This Testarossa was purchased a few years ago by a master Porsche mechanic. He is a Ferrari superfan, but now he wants to go after a Porsche 917, which are selling for $500,000 to a million dollars and he needs to fund his purchase. Help him live his dream and YOU can live yours with this FERRARI!

This Testarossa has many of the attributes of the 917. They both have 12-cylinders and mid-engine design. The fuel injection and electrical systems are by German Bosch as well!

  • Condition: From a smoke free home, weekend ride, low mileage, kept in a secured garage.
  • Healthy transmission: This car was not stored away, Testarossas don't like to sit idle! They like to be driven and because it was driven on the weekends, the tranny is in healthy, well-oiled condition. Ready to hit the road!
  • Motor details: No mechanical problems. The gaskets and o rings are in great condition. If exotic cars like this are stored, they tend to leak when mileage is too low. Not an issue here! Great driving machine!
  • Dents & dings: A few exterior dents and dings, but the paint is gorgeous and all original.
  • History: This vehicle was purchased in Texas at a Houston Porsche dealer!
  • Shipping and payment: You can arrange shipping or local pickup. In Los Angeles area.

Ferrari return to Le Mans looking more likely?

    Wed, 18 Dec 2013

Statements made by Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo may indicate that the Italian brand could return to a form of racing it's been absent from for 40 years - prototype racing. That's right, LMP1 could see a factory Ferrari team for the first time since 1973, if a report from ESPN F1 is to be believed.
"We have won with the 458 GTE, but I also quite like the idea of racing at Le Mans in the highest category: who knows, maybe one day we can return and win, say thanks and come home," Montezemolo said. "Maybe we should give it some consideration..."
These seemingly idle, off-hand comments might not hold much water, were rumors about Ferrari's return to prototype racing not swirling as recently as August. There's also the fact that the upcoming, 1.6-liter, turbocharged V6 being used for Formula One complies with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's own LMP1 regulations, according to ESPN. Finally, Ferrari returning to Le Mans might also explain this video of a camouflaged Ferrari LaFerrari testing a new turbocharged engine, which we showed you a few weeks back. There's a fair chance that what we're actually seeing in that video are the early stages of a new Ferrari prototype testing.

$64M Ferrari 250 GTO could be a fake

    Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Remember that Ferrari 250 GTO that we reported on last week, supposedly listed on mobile.de for $64 million? Well, don't go putting down your deposit just yet, because it might be a fake.
According to noted Ferrari expert Marcel Massini, the vehicle listed on the German used-car website is a replica. "I can tell you that with 100 percent certainty," Massini told CNBC. "I know where all of these cars are today. And this is not one of the original GTOs."
Of course "replica" is a relative term when it comes to 250 GTOs. Other authentic classic Ferraris are sometimes rebodied to look like a GTO, but while they're not real GTOs, they are real Ferraris. We reported on such an "Evocazione" example (pictured above) based on a '65 Ferrari 330 GT a few years ago, around the same time that Matt Farah came across one based on a 365 GTB/4 Daytona alongside a Ford GT as well.

Corvette gets slidey with Britain's best performance cars

    Sat, 18 Oct 2014

Autocar wants to find Britain's best driver's car, and it's challenging a murderers' row of some of the world's best performance vehicles to find out, including the latest Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. All of them were therefore assembled at the Castle Combe Circuit to find a winner.
If it wants to take the crown from this pack of mostly European competitors, the 'Vette has to beat some steep competition. Its challengers include monsters like the Ferrari 458 Speciale, Ariel Atom 3.5R and Jaguar F-Type Coupe. As a further hurdle for the winner to clear, Autocar also has last year's champ among the fighters - the Porsche 911 GT3.
Even if you're not at all interested in the C7, there's still something here for practically any fan of fast cars. The competitors include relative oddities among the pack like the Renault Mégane RS Trophy and Alfa Romeo 4C. Plus, Autocar has some well-positioned microphones that let you hear the Atom wailing like a banshee and the roar of the 458 Speciale. Check out the video to see which one of these all-stars takes home the award this year.
