Has steel wheels and 33" mud terrain tires they have about 50% tread left. Approximately 3" of lift thanks to Radflo 2.0 Front coilovers with remote reservoirs and SPC adjustable control arms. The rear suspension is lift shackles and a Chevy add a lead with Radflo 2.0 Emulsion shocks. Rear Diff Breather mod has been performed to keep water and debris out of the axle. 2" body lift so plenty of room for big/bigger tires. Front Bumper, rear bumper, and rock sliders are all steel and custom made. Dephep low profile roof basket with custom shovel and axe mount. on the right rear door there is a slight impression by the side molding from bushing up against a small tree on the trail. Power windows, locks, and mirrors of course. Passenger seat can fold flat. The biggest thing you will enjoy the most is the 9 speaker Rockford Fosgate Audio System, it will beat any stock audio system out there hands down. There is a small wear spot on the driver's seat where you enter and exit the vehicle. If you think you're ready to handle this beast and the adventures it will take you on, give me a call.

What does a world-class downhill skateboarder drive? Something very cool

Thu, 09 May 2013

Kevin Reimer has an interesting career and a fascinating car. The resident of Vancouver, BC is a professional downhill skateboarder - which we now know is a thing you can be - who sees a lot of commonality between his extreme occupation and his cherry 1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
The subjects of the latest Petrolicious joint, Racing Champions, Reimer waxes philosophical about skateboarding and driving down some of the same routes. You'll not be surprised to hear that riding the curves of a mountain slope, be it on a deck or in a bucket seat, both rely on grip and nerve in various measure. Scroll down to see for yourself, and don't miss the rest of our Petrolicious library when you're done.

How did Nissan tweet a response to the Royal Baby announcement so quickly?

Sun, 14 Sep 2014

A mere seven minutes after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced they were pregnant with their second child, Nissan had the perfect post circulating on the Twittersphere. How did Nissan know to expect Kate and William were expecting? By paying attention to the Internet zeitgeist.
It could be triplets and there would *still* be enough room for the Queen... #XTrail #SevenSeats #RoyalBaby pic.twitter.com/k4HiNAb7lq

Nissan's Le Mans-bound ZEOD RC electric racecar nearing completion [w/video]

Sun, 01 Sep 2013

Nissan is working away on its ZEOD RC (Zero Emission On Demand Racing Car) which is still on pace for a Le Mans arrival in 2014. As of right now, the DeltaWing-shaped car's carbon-fiber tub and chassis have been completed. The next step will be installing the twin electric motors and fitting the seat of driver and GT Academy winner Lucas Ordóñez. If the current schedule sticks, the zero-emissions racer will hit a UK track for test laps in September.
But while those initial shakedown laps will be under full electric power, it's unclear whether the setup fielded in the UK will survive until Le Mans. Nissan itself says that it will be testing a number of "electrified" drivetrains ahead of the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is a significant departure from race car design - usually, the teams know what's powering their car before they start building it.
"Just developing a single powertrain option in only 12 months would be a mammoth task but we're looking to carefully examine a number of options to ascertain which will be best suited for Le Mans," said Darren Cox, Nissan's global motorsport director. Take a look below for a video and press release from Nissan documenting the ZEOD RC's build process.
