2004 Pontiac GTO--This car has 100,300 miles on it. It has all the usual GTO stuff, leather seast power everything. It has the 5.7 motor and an automatic transmission. It runs fantastic and looks great. I added the American racing rims. They are brand new. I have the factory rims but they werent in the best shape. A few curb rashes. and some scuffs. But they come with the car if you want them. The exterior seems to be in very good condition. It has a few scuffs here and there but no major damage. Pics show the car. The interior is in good condition. It does have splits in the tops of the back seats below the window from the sun, They are on the seem.. I have taken pics of both. As with all GTO's it has a loose button on the steering wheel. everything seems to work as it should. I try to be as hoenst as I can with the car-Thus why I have 100% feedback. It will need a wheel bearing. I purchased the part just havent had time to get it to the shop. I will include the part. The car runs and drives. You might not notice the wheel bearing, but I know it needs it so I would like you to know. There are no warning lights on the dash. The guy I got the car from bought it in early 2008 and it had 43,000 miles on it when he bought it. Its a nice car overall. We are a New York State Dealer so anyone from NY must pay NY sales tax. The car is sold as is with no warranties. It is located in Elmira NY and is always available for inspection and can be driven. I am offering it at NO Reserve!!!!!!-High bidder gets the car. Please see my add as I also have an 06 GTO.Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Our phone # is 607-377-4855--NO RESERVE

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]
Fri, 26 Aug 2011You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.
Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT
Fri, 10 Oct 2014The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.
