2009 Porsche Turbo Tiptronic Coupe White on 2040-cars
Auburndale, Florida, United States
This is a mint garage kept tip-tronic turbo. It has never been smoked
in, it has never seen a pet and has been detailed weekly. It had a new
sticker price of $154,545. It has 24,895 dollars in
options. Not including add-ons. I took a picture of the
options page since is too long to retype. This car is totally
white including the rims from the factory. It is the most beautiful
Porsche I have ever seen. It has a clean car fax. The paint is as good as
it gets. I cant find a flaw. The only reason I am
selling it is that I am picking up a new Porsche turbo for European
delivery. Driving one of these beauties on the AutoBahn has always been one of my dreams. You will be purchasing
(taking delivery) this car through my Porsche dealer. Any dealer fees will be
added to your bid price. If you are not local you will be required to
arrange shipping. I am sure my local dealership can help you if you would
like. By the way I have also
had installed by the Porsche dealer the top of the line($2000) radar and laser detector both front and rear. You can see the sensors in the
photos. I have had many sports
cars. none has ever gotten the attention this white beauty gets. Its a never
ending thumbs up. Wow I love this car.
Read through the almost 27,000 dollar option list when
you include the radar detector. You will be amazed. Please feel free to run
a car fax as it is squeaky clean. Call me with any
questions 863 604 6061 my name is Ted and I am the
owner. |

Petrolicious studies the purity of a Porsche 911 2.7 RS
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Water-cooled Porsches are superior to the old, air-cooled models. This really isn't up for debate, despite the mob of Porsche purists, with pitchforks and torches in hand, currently descending on the Autoblog offices. Water-cooled models are more powerful and easier to live with, two factors that make modern Porsches just so darn amazing.
And while we won't hear arguments on anything we've written above, we will say that the old air-cooled models, while not superior, are just, somehow, better. They sound better - a lot better. They're simple, elemental and wildly entertaining things, that just beg for more and more. They rev in a way that forces drivers to work to unlock their power, rather than just push their right foot down. Part of the appeal of air-cooled Porsches, in addition to what we just listed, are the gorgeous cars they're slotted into, like the subject of the latest video from Petrolicious.
Starring a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, this video is a bit shorter than recent ones, but it's no less exciting. This 911, complete with it's sweet-sounding exhaust is the kind of simple, entertaining thing we can watch over and over. Scroll down for the full video.
Petrolicious details why the Porsche 911 is something special
Thu, 26 Sep 2013The Porsche 911 is a special car, if for no other reasons than it's been continuously produced since 1964, with nearly every generation regarded as being at or near the top of its class. But why the rear-engined icon has done so well among enthusiasts and regular drivers alike can't always be explained easily. To truly understand the 911, you have to experience the whole package, and that means driving one.
While just about every publication has raved about the Porsche, commercial director, race driver, photographer and 911 owner Jeff Zwart explains to Petrolicious why he was drawn to the legend as a young child, and why he still loves them today.
Zwart's professional and personal life are inextricably linked to the 911, and hearing him talk about the car and its history makes for fascinating viewing. Watch the video below to hear Zwart's story and see him drive a couple examples from his collection: an early 911 and the 964-generation Carrera 4 he won Pikes Peak with for the first time - a car that happens to be equipped with the 959 Paris-Dakar's fascinating torque-split transmission. Enjoy!
Porsche digitally dissects its 918 Spyder for your viewing pleasure
Wed, 02 Oct 2013At this point, you'd think we'd know all there is to know about the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder - except what it's like to drive - but Porsche has released a new video giving us a more in-depth look at its new plug-in hypercar all the same. The animated video gives us numerous cutaway looks at the 918 Spyder while giving a visual demonstration of the car's four hybrid driving modes.
Though nowhere near as exciting as watching the 918 blast around the Nürburgring in record time, this new video is nonetheless both interesting and informative. Scroll down to watch the video yourself, and be sure to check out our live gallery of the production version of the car along with a stock gallery.
